WHERE ARE THE MII'S
For the people who want to use mii's: For the Small Mii with either the biddybuggy or mr scooty and the rollers with any costume.
For the medium mii u could use the Mach 8 with Azure Rollers and a Blue Suit so either the Normal Blue Suit, the Mega Man Suit, the Chain Chomp suit or the Dolphin suit (if u really want to use the inkstriker for the smaller hitbox Normal Suit (Purple) , Toadette Suit , Kirby Suit and the Birdo Suit look pretty good on it).
For the Large Mii u can use something like Mr scooty with Rollers (same as Funky Kong Scooty) or for a bit more ground speed Streetle Class, Pipe Frame Class or the Teddybuggy Class.
I actually forgot about the mii’s lol
Well the MII's have similar stats to some character depending on their weight so probably the use the same combo of the character that they share stats with

@@rustymidlander05 well, thats the case if you're in a sub 10k vr room where everyone is so ruthless with attack items, i know this because im also suffering throught the sub 10k vr rooms (i have 6989 vr as of replying this)
I get way more heated playing with CPUs since I tend to fall along the line of "woah, respect" towards good players, lmao.

Also, I think you got me into the habit of complimenting my opponents' good plays rather than just getting annoyed every time in online games, so thank you! It stops me from getting too tilted lol
i dont always pick random because of me hating every track, i pick random because i like every track and it couldnt matter less to me and it helps tracks that are never picked get more chances without removing the chances of overpicked tracks
Okay that makes sense, I didn't think about it like that! For people who pick their favorite of the 3 track choices, usually picking random means you don't like the 3 options. Since I assume most people pick a track if they like it enough, it made sense that people picking random just don't like most of the tracks enough to pick them.
there's no such thing as an "overpicked" track. the tracks that don't get picked are bad tracks.

I could feel the sweat dripping off shortcat in the last race cause it was almost dead silent outside of "I like that she sings" for most of the race. That was real focused shortcat
I really really love this channel. More and more I've been unfollowing gaming streamers who clearly aren't having a good time, just forcing themselves through whatever challenge runs makes their audience happy.
With Shortcat, it's absolutely lovely the way you always seem to have a blast playing MK even when it's not going your way. The enthusiasm is truly infectious!

9:43 That's ironically my favourite way to play MK8 DX at least at the VR I'm at(7k range). I use a website to get myself a random character/kart/wheels/glider and change out every single race. It has led to some rather fun moments.
Edit: 39:34 I also actually pick random every time, not because I don't like the choices, but because I like the majority of the tracks and don't really mind any of them. Though a lot of the Wii courses I am kind of sick of. It's been nearly 16 years of people going crazy for those courses. I'm a bit sick of it, but I still don't overly mind playing those courses.
That's also how I used to play, and that's also how I found my current main combo, Lemmy circuit special roller/off road and paper glider.

There are 7 Koopalings because they were the 7 bosses in the 7 castles you had to beat in Super Mario World for the SNES before reaching Bowser's Castle. Nintendo probably did it that way to avoid having to create 8 unique Bowser fights for the game.
They were introduced in Super Mario Bros. 3, for the airships. But the thing is, they're one unit - we can't just have a couple of them in one game - it's all of them or none of them.
@@klop4228 You are correct. Sorry, SMB3 was slightly before my time. I grew up playing SMW. I didn't even play #3 until much later when I bought it on the 3DS Virtual Console.

What a treat of a video, this was super fun! This and the other combo vid have given my whole family fun combos to play for all our favourite characters. The ending to this video was so intense I must've looked like an iPad kid with the screen inches from my face. Also I got a little sidetracked and figured that the probability that you would get at least one repeat track is 99.99997% so probs a good thing you kept the repeats in.

Is it better to hold down during the entire glider section ? And does tricking on glider pannel/canons matter in term of speed gained ? And it would be nice to see a video with the best mushroom spots for every track, and every shortcut worth taking. And bullet extensions too
Shortcat has shorts dedicated to every shortcut for every map
He also says that doing a tech called “glider vectoring” which is faster than tricking on glider ramps (doesn’t work with canons I don’t think)
For bullets shortcat mentioned another channel which was dedicated to bullet extensions since he isn’t aware of all of the extensions on every map

Why do I watch your videos, I’ve played Mario Kart like twice and that was years ago, but I don’t think I’ve ever missed a video you made.
Having come back to MK8DX from watching your videos, and watched your Guides.
I tried the Daisy combo and then Daisy teddy and I see WHY the combo is so good. I used to mainly play Pipe Frame, Slicks, Plane Glider (What I like to call. MK64 combo) and while the combo was serviceable, playing all three and finding that Teddy Roller Paper felt NATURAL to me and playing in worldwide was eye opening. Thanks, Shortcat!
FINALLY LONGER VIDEOS. Bro i honestly think, most videos over 40 Minutes are nearly always good. I still watch most of your and Jpgiviner's video coz u both so enterteining and got me back into mariokart.
What a nail biting set of races. I thought you'd be achieving your goal easily, but I guess constantly switching characters really messes with your consistency. That, and rotten luck at times made this an exciting Mario Kart feature film

It's really good to see that it's about the skill (and the course, and a heaping of luck too) and not the combos. I really prefer having the uniqueness of every character and slightly different technique for each playstyle!
