Yeah, Maui is no joke in the wet! It rained the whole day I rode there and feels exactly like ice! That clay doesn't wash out either. Permanently stained my shoes, shorts, and rain jacket. Can't wait to get back to try again in dry conditions 🤘

I’ve lived in Oahu most of my life, but I’ve never seen these trails. Then again I didn’t live on the north shore.

I rode that trail system on Maui when it was wet too. It was such a slop fest. Climbing up to the top was insane because there was absolutely no traction. Even had to walk some spots which proved comical as well. Either way it was cool to ride there. Fun vid!

Or you could rent one! I'm planning on going to Maui fall/early winter. Probably gonna see if there's a place to rent, since I'll likely only spend one day riding.
@@huntstyle there's a shop real close to the makawao forest that will even hook you up with a bike rack for your car for no extra charge. When i went last May it had rained for multiple days so i didnt feel good about hitting that wall ride, so if you get the chance hit it for me!
