Again and again you guys manage to capture the essence of what mountain biking with friends is all about. So stoked to see the yellow bordered thumbnail and immediately tap on it. Love you guys and want to congratulate you on all your success. We’ll earned.
Bowland Designs Inc. would like to thank you for creating this great video of our slice of Paradise. You guys rock! Fun fact, Ryan Bowland had the honours to rebuilt this epic Dual Salalom. So cool you had a fun time racing. Keep up the great work. Happy trails.
They used to have a kick ass bike festival with a bunch of trials stuff in the early 2000's - love Hornby Island - it isn't a random dual slalom - it's an ancient artifact!
I don’t ride bikes, I just like watching you guys hang out. One day I hope I’ll have friends like you guys, your videos encourage me to work on myself and work on making friends.
Always makes for a good day when there’s a fresh mahalo my dude video up! You guys are always killing it with production quality. Keep kicking ass boys!! MAHALO!!! 🤙
That area called the "Green Room" was absolutely stunning. Too bad you all weren't wearing brighter neon colors (Hawaiian shirts maybe) when going through there, the contrast would have been awesome.
I visited Hornby Island a few years ago w/ the wife and we had a great time riding out there. Have been meaning to go back since, and this just strengthened that desire! Great vid, as always!
Every summer, riding on Hornby would be one of the year’s highlights. This was the late 90’s when a hard tail with pretty much no discernible front suspension was the steed of choice. Although mellow, the trails are fun, smooth, and the views are incredible. Good vibes and beaches too.
Hornby island is such a good time. Im bummed you guys didn't get to ride around on any of the crazy sandstone rock formations but it looks like you still got your stoke on! If you are creative enough, you can actually find some pretty cool lines by the water.
Okay, I think you convinced me to go back there! Ive spent a summer on Hornby with my mom at Christiane&Karl's place when I was twelve! Since then ive always been searching for an reason to pay then a visit! I think ill pack my bike and fly to Vancouver next summer... !! WOW thks for the vid im so stoked now!😃
One recommendation from an amateur FPV drone pilot : buy youself a ViFly Beacon and stick it on your drone (around 20$) ! It's standalone beeper (it has its own battery) which does need any sort of wiring. You just turn it on before your drone and it will detect a crash (on board accelerometer) and scream BEEPS with a volume of more than 100 Db every 6s. When it detects darkness it also turns on a bright LED so you can come back to spot it in low light as well. Cheers mate !
Very cool work guys!! I was amazed to see how much and what kind of equipment you take along ... !! Not sure when that was filmed, a guy I know was going with his buds to ride on Hornby and told me that 'your mom" was closed due to some rider who hurt himself on a feature I guess. Now he's apparently put an insurance claim in and the insurance is going after the trail builders .... Pretty sad story if true ...
It sucks that the RUclips model doesn't better support high quality content like you guys make instead it supports the pump out daily garbage model. I often find myself re-watching Mahalo videos over and over, like listening to a really good song. Hopefully others do the same.
