In ancient times, concepts of sexuality that we have now didn't really exist, exactly. Religious interpretation and selective purposeful translation of ancient texts led to much of the bigotry and homophobia we see and experience now.
As an Egyptian, I find it hard to believe that one of the most homophobic places has such history
