Same here on the right coast. I need to wear shoes with SOCS......oh the horror! these designers on TREND would say. Those men would scoff at me to RUIN the look of their overpriced shoes that are supposed to be worn barefooted. (of course, you never see men wearing no socs unless they are wearing boat shoes for a camera shoot) I even get laughed at when I wear pantyhose. YES, the dreaded pantyhose. Saw one influencer show several shoes with soxes… I wear them in fall & winter because I get cold- to heck with being in style; comfort is more important in cold weather.
Love the options for this fall!!! Mostly classic and timeless. As for the equestrian boot nothing is more "quiet luxury" or "old money" and I think the style can still be worn with any skinny style pant (jean, legging, riding pant)with the proper sweater or blazer.

Very informative but had to smile to myself as recall when my daughter was about three or four (who is now 48 years old); adding tiny red floral rosettes to the straps of her black Mary Jane patent leather shoes.
My favorite shoes for this summer and this last spring are the Sezane Paula Babies (pronounced Babby’s). They are Mary Jane style sling-backs with two buckled straps set low across the vamp, square toes and 2” or so block heel. They are so darling and super-comfortable. I hope they will have a closed-heel version for autumn and winter.
Do love a flat…just more dressed. I want the pointed toe, no little girl straps, love spectator look with a variety of fall color mix i.e. camel shoe w/ brown or green or black toe trim. So enjoying your vlog!
My favorite trend is pumps and sling backs with kitten heels….they always look so classy. My least favorite are Mary Janes….they are too young looking for me. Most bummed about the equestrian look with riding boots being less trendy. I love riding boots and love them with dresses and skirts. I wore great red shoes when I was younger and good quality shoes were available. I always wore red fingernails and lipstick red tone, and often a fine strand of Mediterranean coral at the base of my neck. That was more than enough to let red shoots work.

I know you are a warm soft autumn, I am deep, I found a pair of Ferrara a flats with bows, I used to wear a few times, a wonderful deep red, deep and rich but still a bit soft. That colour in a matte or suede you could wear. As you can wear violet purple colour, this is a thrilling colour to wear with it in small amount,

Me and my husband got our first pair of cowboy boots 3 years ago in Texas as a souvenirs. We each have 5 pais now. Some of them are on the cheap side, and some are exotic skin. All of them are incredibly comfortable and last forever. I'm so happy that they are trandy now ❤

I will always wear ballet flats. I have six pairs of different colors. I’m glad they’re in style but even when they’re not in style, I’m still going to wear them because they’re very comfortable. Mine have arch support.😊

When you wear a size 4 1/2 shoe, you get what you can find, not what you want. My feet are so small I have to put an extra insole in a size 5, if I can even find a 5. But the upside is that I got a screaming deal on a pair of Sponge Bob shoes. Now my 6 year old granddaughter and I go out and get matching shoes.
