I really appreciate your tips on how to elevate your casual outfits. I bristle somewhat at the use of the word expensive, but I understand its use in terms of not wanting your outfits to look “cheap.” You are so right in saying that paying attention to your accessories, the use of textures and other simple tweaks can make all the difference. I have never thought of expensive looking as items that have large money value; frankly I high some high end friends, average like me and even those that rarely spend money on clothes; What I have learned through the years that make clothes look expensive is usually if its pressed and fits well; its also how the person has put the entire package together self included; from my rich friends its accessories that make the outfit; also less is more. Stores that my friends shop include everything from Walmart to Neiman's.
I only wear natural fibers, silk year-round, wool or cashmere for winter, and linen for summer. I won’t even buy synthetic blends, my skin can’t handle them and they don’t breathe. I wear my silk clothes around the house, not just to go out, it’s so very comfortable.
I bought those black boots with the red sole as soon as I saw them on Vivaia's website. They are so comfortable and such fun! Just a couple of days ago, I found a black/white/red plaid blazer in a charity shop (thrift store). It looks like new and only cost £5.99 ($7). I thought perhaps it was a little bit long on me and I would have to shorten it. However,t it's the same length as yours, which looks great, so I shall leave it alone (and save myself a lot of work). I just got my black boots with the red sole. I absolutely love them! They are super comfortable and ultra stylish. Not to mention- waterproof. I think I’m going to buy another pair of Vivaia boots. 😁

I don't like red, but I enjoy the wine close colors, so don't espect to see me wearing red some red, close to orange tones, are so disturbing to me😮 and I hate styled trends with sandals (my nails get dirty 🤔haha)
Sorry but I didn’t like the Viviaia shoes I ordered for summer one bit. The pair that showed up after a month were so tight in the toe box I could see the contour of the toenail on my big toe. And this was supposed to be the extra room in the toe box design. I only found out the second pair was back ordered after I told them I was returning the first pair. One plus was that the refund was prompt.
So, if I understand, it's "ok" to wear your pant leg over your ankle boots & not just at the ankle w jeans?? U showed a couple of ways to elevate jeans, but I'd love to see more! I wear jeans more than anything else(volunteer wk), but I'd still like to look well put together & classy. Thxs & new subscriber. 💖

I’m not at all interested in recycled plastic shoes/ faux “knit” plastic shoes 😣… give me a quality leather shoe I can properly care for that will last YEARS longer and be way better for the environment. They are repairable and also much better for your feet!
I like the outfits. They don’t look snobby or unapproachable. I believe modesty is also about not showing off your money.

I want to order some of those boots. I'm always a 7.5 or 38. The 7.5 on the size chart says 38.5. I'm not sure what size to order.
Maybe depending on if you are wearing socks?
They have a size guide on the items that show you how to measure your foot. I would go by their recommendation.
