Hey man old school is the only way to go they sure don’t build em like they used to! Can’t go wrong with an Ls motor in an older car tho. New power old car= lots o fun 🤩
Good thing is with money your dream can come true. Figure out a price point and go after it. Shipping will be a couple a grand by boat. But because your closer to Dubai you could pick up something nice from there. That was already shipped that way.
So funny you say that I started with 15 inch stock rallies sold them went up to 20s sold them bought some 22 inch forgiatos sold them just bought some 15 inch cragers lmao with white letter and a lot of tires lmao went in a big circle lmao
20s with run flats really do make the cars feel like they're on rails though, really tightens up the handling. May not be ideal aesthetically but they have their place outside of looks for sure.
Hear lottsa folks saying the 69 Camaro was the best looking care ever built in that era, but these 69-70 Chevelles were right there. Beautiful lines, and badass looks. Love em.
That smile says it all.. Everytime there's a Chevelle on your show, I'm like WOW, this is the best one yet, so here we go again hahaha this one is exceptional! Just love everything about this beast
Awesome Chevelle!! It's so cool to watch videos where the owner didn't break the bank rebuilding it. The owner has done a beautiful job and love the US flag on drive shaft, ntm the exhaust is just badass, I love the sound it makes too. Great video guys!!
That Chevelle is just perfect! The sound, the rake, and especially the look of the front end with the wheels turned. There's something about that negative camber, combined with the lip spoiler that makes it look really good. Though it's hard to go wrong, with a 2nd gen Chevelle anyway. I love it!
So similar to my nova .... bought it when I was 13..... had to sell it when I was 15..... bought it back when I was 31.... now I’m 36 and finally starting to pull it apart..... only forward now...
👍 what a great car and he seems like an awesome guy. There is not a car person out there that wouldn't want your job. Keep those videos coming buddy. It's amazing the talent some of these people have to build awesome cars that you review. I never miss an episode. 30 years ago my 69 SS 396 wasn't pretty but I've been told as I spank somebody on the street that the front wheels come off the ground. It was purpose-built. Now I drive a damn Sentra.
What a great car!! The wheels, the stance, the colour, the engine. Very cool build. Love that it has a more classic appearance. He said "they're only 17's" like that was a bad thing, but I think they look awesome!! Hats off to this guy! 👍 And he has fun with the car. That's kind of the point, isn't it? 😁
@@all4speed Considering the cars originally came with 14's, I think if you go too big you kinda ruin their classic appearance. I think 17's are the perfect compromise between classic looks and being able to put a decent amount of tire under the car. Wouldn't change a thing.
I think the slightly raised rear stance looks tuff. I appreciate how he got this, his first car ever. I worked and got my first car when i was not old enough to drive also. Wish i had been smart enough to keep it. Kept it 10 years and sold it when i was about 25. Very nice car.
kudos to daniel for his build......lovvvvvvvveeee the driveshaft paint scheme......and love the color choice of the car...you dont see that color ....very unique!
I always appreciate the workmanship and effort put into all the cars you show. Obviously like some finished products more than others. For me, this car looks perfect lol.
Sounds amazing and looks so good! Beautiful build and its definitely cool to see someone close to my age that built such a sweet ride from the age that I probably feel in love with classic cars! 😁
I loved keeping the originality where it made sense. I didn’t want to lose the cool stuff that makes it classic. I was always so excited to get those in.
Shoulder belts never came down on our ‘71. Love where this car is going. This Chevelle embodies the true spirit of the enthusiast in virtually all respects. Stay rowdy, friend!
@@patricksellhorn6518 The shoulder belts are a factory option in chevelles. Mine were restored by a guy in NJ or NY. Now you can buy them I think through places like OPGI.

When I grow up I falling love of that car , now the chevelle is not more in the family but I thinking buy one for me and remember the old times.
My father in law is 81 he told me he has owned 25 to 30 fords in his life, "Fords are easier to work on but Chevy makes better looking cars." He is so right.
What a cool ass story and cool ass guy!! To know what you wanted at age 11 and make that dream into a reality is the ultimate feel good story. The car is built exactly as Swan wanted it and it's a hella performer!! Great job Swan!!👍👍
Thanks Johnny! Yea i knew i wanted a chevelle. but definitely went through a few phases during building before landing on the LS platform. Full stock 350 restoration idea, then 454 tunnel ram dual carb idea, then 396ss close idea, to finally the LS package. Glad I went this route though, its been fun!

It warms this old heart to see a young dude building a classic muscle car!
Thanks for the support. Got a couple more Chevelles in the works now. Quite addicting

If you ever visit, you can’t drive it!
It's bc here in US we have a lot more room to drive around lol.
Do it! I did, got a 71 Nova SS. Used a company in the UK called ship my car. You can get a quote really easily.
That exhaust note was very nice. I put my good headphones on to better enjoy it. Dude built a solid car.
Thank you! Can see more of it on Instagram as well @all4speed
This Chevelle is GORGEOUS. I love everything about it. It's obvious that this one gets driven and enjoyed, too.
Thanks that’s one thing I built it for, to drive it
@@all4speed I keep coming back to this Chevelle. What is this paint color? It's gorgeous.
One of my absolute favorite muscle car bodies. Absolutely gorgeous. The story behind the car is great too
Thank you!
68/69 Chevelle is one of my favorite cars. This one is beautiful. Nice job! Be safe!
Thanks so much!
I like 66/67👍
Just goes to show that 400 ish HP is enough to have fun with on the street. Nice build young man!
Very much so, a healthy power to play with. Much more is just wheel spin haha
And that was 400ish to the wheels, gotta be in the 500 neighborhood at the crank. 🙌🏼
I would rather have 4-500 controllable horsepower than 800 uncontrollable any day. Awesome build!
Love it!
Not me. More the better. I have a 680hp 68 mustang. But i want 900hp
Yes, it's cool to experience more of the range of revs and power and 'get to know' the car.
Great car
Yeah but capable of 800,900 hp though
The stance on that though... 🔥
Thank you!
Great car. I especially like that he went no bigger then 17 on the wheel size. These older muscle cars look fantastic with some sidewall.
Agreed! Thank you
Much prefer these old American cars with smaller 17" wheels rather than these 20s people put on.
I like thick rubber

I can so relate to a working man's build! Most of us have a budget to live by! Please keep these types of builds coming!
Shawn’s reaction during the donuts at the end is so great. I love how giddy these restomod muscle cars make him...we’re kindred spirits, brother
That’s the truth!! Instant smiles and laughs from me everytime!!
It's loud & nasty and I love it! This is the best argument for having a paper route as your first job.
Thanks!
They call that stance the "California Rake" from back in the day.
Love it! Might need to be a new IG page or hashtag
The 17s and some sidewall looks great here
And the sound 😀😀😀😀😀😀
Thanks! I really wanted to avoid oversized wheels

This is the 'best most honest build' I've seen in ages, nicely sorted and lots of fun.
A perfect Chevelle everything is done right I love the stance and wheels, and the sound is so cool
Wow, thanks for the compliment!
Car sits right, isn’t overdone and looks just as good as some of the rides that cost twice as much.
Nice ride!
Wow I appreciate the kind words!

Still more to dial haha
First I dig the stance. I'm old school and that's how a muscle car should sit. Even the wheels and tires look good. Sounds great too.
