- Released on the 1966 album, "Andiamo". Don's version of the Italian song which was originally a hit for Betty Curtis, Luciano Tajoli, Emilio Pericoli and Tony Dallara in 1961 and 1962. Written by Carlo Donida, Mogol and Ervin Drake.
A great version of this wonderful song. Don became a forgotten singer as time went on.
During the early and mid 1950's I remember Don Cornell's recordings being played on radio all the time. I had forgotten what an extremely powerful voice he had.
Don was always a class act. I had the great pleaure of meeting him in Jersey back in the 50s while he was playing a club date. The great ones work lasts beyond them to pleasure fitr audiences. God Bless you Don
MELHOR GRAVAÇAO DESTA PE'ROLA, OH MY GOD
Don was a wonderful friend. He always respected and never forgot his Italian heritage.
Ah yes !!!! This is great. I am partial being Italian.

The Best for me is Emilio Pericoli
Talk about sentiment....I have a banner headline from November 22-1963 when JFK died. As I read it I saw Don Cornell was in SF.
