This Is my review and upgrade on a 20 sound abrasive air sandblaster. I'm a local store or online for really cheap. I use an aluminum oxide 80 grit Abrasive. After getting through a few clogs with this Deadman valve on this abrasive Blaster seems to work very well. I would recommend it to do jobs such as the one I did in this video. I did do a lot of hand sanding or electric Palm sanding on the bed too not just sandblasting. I use a sandblaster for the corners and the hard to get areas with the electric tools that I was using. I watched another vider and that seems to be a common problem and will continue to happen as long as you use that valve the guy suggested instead to use the valve coming from the compressor because that one is gping to be pushing sand with constant pressure so when you go to close it sand is going to be all the way down the hose and through the valve at best youll wear the valves out regularly

The lever nozzle is a definite must have for this blaster, it is also a good idea to shut off the grit feed valve on the bottom of the tank before stopping for any length of time, if you do not, the grit flows into the feed pipe and blocks it, another essential is an air fed mask, you can get a conversion that fits into the filter ports of the mask, the filter type are useless for such heavy contamination and need blowing out every hour, if not, you are breathing in abrasive dust around the edge of the mask, with deadly consequences, these blaster work very well when set up with a 10 cfm compressor, but they do need a lot of air.

I use the harbor freight big blue dryer with the regulator. Then I use the regular filter bowl at my hose reel.

Its not quick. Is speeds up the abrasion time but adds a lot of clean up time.

This sandblaster has some common problems....yes a dead man is must..
    A water trap is must....
Correct tip size for media is a must...
The valve needs to modified so a more convenent cam actuated leave can open close this more conveniently... during operation.
A media vibrator on the tank is must to prevent media from clogging in the tank..poor tank design.

Two ads in 5 minutes in an 8 minute video. Not only no, but hell no. You spend more time putting on all the garb than it takes to do a small project. I'll stay the course.
