- Our fifth addition to our new series. The last week has been like a dream for us. The amount of beautiful messages we received have been so overwhelming. We can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for this blessing. The journey has been long and difficult but being here now, all I can say is that it was worth it. I want to thank you all for how amazing you have been.

Yeah. It feels like he loves her more. I see how he always leans on to her and keeps her hand and kisses her and says "I love you" and she doesn't even respond😂 nothing bad with that, I'm sure she loves him same much. It's just so weird cause my relationship is totally different. It's very hard to find someone who's gonna love you that much as Steven loves Dasi) and still I wish it to everyone and myself)

Gender reveal idea- film yourself doing a makeup tutorial in black and white and make your eyeshadow either pink or blue for whatever the gender is and talk to us about all the things you are look forward to for when the baby arrives - and then you and Steven get dressed up and sit in the garden with a bunch of balloons either blue or pink and then reveal the video in color at the end! 💙💕

You guys noticed how Steven has kept it all in during the journey, while Desi was pouring her emotions out, so he was strong for her, and now I feel it’s the other way round, Steven is very emotional in this video while Desi still is but a bit tougher, and she’s supporting him. This here is what love is all about, true balance, supporting one another, never dragging each other down.
You too are soulmates and also made to be parents. 🙏🏻

I have struggled with telling anyone about my struggles with my current pregnancy, just the facts let alone my feelings. The only reason anyone other than my husband knows is because his older brother finally asked if I was pregnant. My husband said yes but looks like we may not be able to keep it. Then like a week or so later it got brought up again and my husband said that things may not be as bad as initially thought. Other than that, no one has gotten confirmation I'm pregnant and idk if my husband even has all the info. I cannot imagine being that vulnerable to the world, those who mean me well and those that mean me harm.

That dr is everything... he is sooo lovely and the amount of times he congratulated you and told you how well you did. His voice is so calming!
I love how calming his voice is but I am so distracted by how many times he says "okay?" after every comment

The guy doing the ultrasound was so sweet omg. The amount of times he congratulated them.. you can tell he works with people that deal with infertility, hes so genuinely happy for the couples
When Steven said, “that beautiful angel sleeping there is the mother of my child” I definitely cried! I’m so happy for both of them but especially Steven! I know how hard this has been for Desi because I can relate as a woman, but I can’t imagine what it’s like for the husbands. I’m so happy for the both of them!

My heart melted when your doctor told you that you did the right thing by coming in when you felt uneasy. You can tell that your medical staff genuinely cared about you and wanted you to be comfortable. This was so sweet 🥺
I think I slept my whole first trimester. It was insane how much I slept. My husband didn’t believe how exhausted I was. I even forgot to go back to work when I fell asleep during lunch sometimes. Trying to explain that while still

They can feel it. They will protect her during this. My sister in law had a dog who wouldn't leave my side when I'd visit while pregnant. She literally would sit for hours in front of my belly, protecting it from the other dogs and went from a crazy wild dog to this over protective mum. It was wild, it blew my mind and I could tell it was the dogs instinct. I loved knowing that they know you are with child and are trying to protect you. I'm not a dog person but after that it really changed my mind. I've never seen a dog be so sweet
your fertility doctor is the sweetest, you can see he genuinely cares and is there for his patients
My morning sickness disappeared out of nowhere too but a lot of people was telling me that once in the second trimester it goes away and that’s when you get like a boost of energy. By the third trimester I was sleeping in every day all day LOL I had a girl she’s six months now and for my general reveal we just did a smoke bomb. Boy or girl I’m just still so happy for the both of you wish you nothing but a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. It goes by so quick 💕

I could tell from the first video. She looked so much different
Girl each appointment I would have like a mini panic moment because they always struggled to find the heart beat and I’d get scared. It really does feel like time stops and you hold your breath until you hear that beautiful sound of a healthy heart beat. They Day my c-section came which was a week early btw I was so ready to meet my baby girl and she was a breached so she came out feet first and I was so nervous I was shaking from fear and nerves and when I heard her cry 😭 I started balling my eyes out and I said to me husband omg she’s beautiful and hadn’t seen her yet only heard her. It was the most surreal moment when they put her on my chests and I could breast feed her. She was a healthy baby girl and I don’t think I had ever felt that type of joy and warmth in my heart me and the hubby were crying at first then we were scared then we were just so happy and grateful. God bless you guys this is a magical journey.
Edit: my symptoms were mild to none, I realized I was preggo the day I woke up from this amazing day nap, which I can’t take day naps and that day I didn’t even realize I fell asleep and when I woke I felt so great. I threw up once and it was because I ate hot Cheetos my baby was not having it all I craved was oat meal fruits veggies and cooked sushi/ all Asian food, and of course my Mexican food good home cooking. My baby girl moved so much that I nicknamed her the lil mermaid, it it does feel like lil butterflies fluttering @ inside. I was showing by 3 months for sure. Yeah don’t drink caffeine for sure a sip is fine but I wouldn’t do a whole cup. Oh yes walking helps so much I also did pregnancy yoga. So sorry that Steven couldn’t be there for your following appointments.
Dear Desi and Steven. This pandemic brought so much uncertainty to my life but you and your family brought so much happiness. And maybe I don't know you personally but I feel your happiness and your tears sooo deep in my soul. I love both of you so much 💜
Ouuu An idea: You’re such a talented artist! You could do a time-lapsed portrait in black and white, then do a color reveal at the end! That way that art could go in Baby’s nursery!

I went through 3 rounds of IUI after clomid and then injections in the butt having had years of trying naturally. It failed. I can so relate to all your feelings during this. We were booked in to start IVF when a miracle happened. That was 25 years ago. It never happened again and I couldn't face having fertility treatment again so here I am the mum of a single 24 year old boy sobbing with happiness for you both. Congratulations. Xx

I feel like that’s an Asian thing. Almost all of Asian-American I know speaks that way, me included sometimes. Personally I get it from my parents or someone older than me who isn’t a native English speaker, it’s like they’re asking if I understand what they had just said. 🤗 Or could be just a reassuring thing from the doctor ❤️

Anyone who is watching this and has infertility (with no ability to carry) I want you to know I am here too. It’s okay if you are sad or wanting. It’s okay if you are happy for our desi, but also grieving yourself. It’s okay to need love when watching a fertility journey if you aren’t able to have one. I’m post-hysterectomy, one that saved my life. Just know you aren’t alone and it’s so valid to feel how you need to feel... EVEN IF you are as excited as I am for them ❤️

I didn’t know who you where before.. I just typed in RUclips “fertility stories”. You popped up and a binged watched all of your story. Beautiful, raw and captivating. So well filmed. I cried my eyes out when you found out you where pregnant. Best of Luck with your miracle baby ❤️❤️❤️ I am TTC, I have endometriosis and I’m only 3 months in and I am already finding it emotionally draining. For the gender reveal, we are bringing the envelope to my Mom. She's an artist. She is going to paint a little fox (since the nursery is woodland themed) with either blue or pink flowers around it, and then we'll unveil the canvas in front of family and find out what we're having. She's leaving a blank space at the bottom to paint in the baby's birthday when he or she comes, and we'll have a beautiful memory that we can also decorate the nursery with.
That is such a beautiful way to do it 🦊

IVF has made leaps & bounds in the almost 2 decades since I had my first. Though I never experienced it, I’ve had many friends & family members who have. It’s just amazing. Any life, any way it’s created, is just amazing. Congratulations. There are many women deserving of this miracle & Desi is definitely at the top of that list. I’m just so happy for her & Steven 💜💙

When Desi started crying hearing the heart beat I was CRYINNNNNG !! I know this might sound selfish but I’ve never even thought of people that can’t have babies and how badly they want them. You seriously opened my eyes that it’s not easy for everyone. I don’t think I’ll ever ask someone when they’re going to have kids. Thank you for sharing your experience. I just want to say that as a woman who fought with everything in me to have biological children and eventually ended up having to have a complete hysterectomy, it makes me so HAPPY to hear you say how grateful you are to have the pregnancy symptoms! There are so many women who so quickly forget the struggle us women go through to get pregnant.
I ended up adopting a set of twin girls and a singleton from foster care from their births so I did become a mommy, just in a different way, but still the best way!

Just please remember that your suffering does not negate someone else’s suffering. There will always be someone who has it worse than you and it doesn’t mean you don’t have a right to be hurt or bothered by something. My pregnancy was very hard on me, yes I’m blessed to be able to carry a baby, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a right to complain about throwing up all day for 5 months straight. I’m so sorry that your journey to motherhood was harder than it is for so many. I just think everyone needs to understand that suffering is relative.

I gave birth April 14th 2020 and it's not tough it's not ideal, you WILL get through it. I didn't leave my house for several months and I know it's hard! I'm so excited for you guys! Praying for everything to continue to go smoothly!

As a pregnant woman who has had to be without her spouse through quite a few moments including my current situation where I’m in the hospital and he wasn’t allowed to stay with me. It’s be rough! I pray you guys are able to go back to normal pretty soon

Im pregnant also, just a couple weeks behind you. I understand how you feel not being able to bring your husband to the appointments. My husband hasn't even been able to hear a heart beat yet.
