Really glad to see the is. I’ve done a build on my son’s spree and have been looking at this pipe. Currently running a heavily modded stock pipe. It is an 1984 Iowa with 86/87 dome piston. Ported cases and ported cylinder. Dio reed valve and PWK 21 mm carb. Thinking that pipe would be a big help!!!

Sounds like this pipe would be perfect for your build. With all the work you've done I bet it would really wake it up.

Well I'm glad to hear it wasn't just me having that problem. There is no right or wrong way to put that bolt it. It's nearly impossible. I managed to get mine in but it took a lot longer than it should have.

@Southeast Vintage Cycle Rescue What if I told you I know how to make it bury the speedometer without any modifications whatsoever?
I had a mint red spree when I was 15 it would only do 30mph. I would go riding with a couple of friends. 1 had a black spree and the other had a trac.
They both would leave me in the dust with me yelling for them to wait up.
I took my spree over to a buddy of mine inside the air filter box was a little black sponge which I assume was the air filter.
we soaked it in gas and wrung it out placed it back in the box which I see you do not have.
Mine did not have a clamp on the tube going from the carb to the air box.
I don't know how I figured this out but while riding the scooter at 30 mph I would squeeze that tube right at the point where it's not around the carb which.
would create a little opening between the tube and the port of the carb it wrapped around.
The motor would start whining out and it would bury the speedometer.
Needless to say, on the next ride with my buddies and from then on, they would be yelling for me to wait up with me giving them the finger.
I miss my spree which my parents only paid $300 for now I just think people are asking way too much!!
