    Very informative video.
I'd like to know more about colour-themed dress codes.
In a past job of mine, my employer required a 'green-themed business professional' dress code. I responded with a charcoal-grey suit, white shirt and pocket square, black belt and shoes, gold-coloured cufflinks and tie clip (which complemented my gold wedding ring), black, gold, and green lapel pin, and an emeral-green tie.
On my first day at work, I noticed one colleague dressed like I was but wearing a gold lapel pin and royal navy blue tie instead while another wore a navy-blue suit, light-blue shirt, and gold cufflinks, tie clip, lapel pin, and tie.
It turned out my employer didn't mean that that we necessarily had to wear green (though he accepted that and was happy with my suit too) but that any combination of the primary colours of green (so blue and yellow) should dominate the overall appearance of the suit.
I've not come across a colour-themed dress code since but was wondering how common it is for a colour-themed dress code to accept any combination of the primary colours of the colour theme without requiring the wearing of that colour itself or if that was just a more liberal interpretation than usual.

Thank you for this one! I love the psychology behind color and color matching, and *try* to use this on a regular basis, on-the-clock or off-the-clock. Much of my wardrobe is blue (true and navy) but my company branding color is *orange* so I have fun incorporating that via accessories as you mentioned (pocket squares, bracelets, ring, pen, sunglasses, etc.). Sometimes blue and black can make for an interesting combo as well. Hats are a fun color accessory as well to work into a wardrobe, but I realize not every guy is a "hat guy"...lol ;-)

The basic palette that works for my casual wardrobe is black, white, navy and camel. Almost any combination of these colors works (except navy and black) . Black and white go with everything. Navy and camel are neutral enough so that you can add bits of more "adventurous" colors like maroon, green or burgundy. If you have other staples like brown leather jacket it's a quite versatile set.

    My opinion on the colors:
    - Red: one of my favorite clothing colors (easily top 3) and something I use for shirts, sweaters, jackets (either bomber or shell), chinos, shorts, caps, and ties, or as a pattern or extra detail in a dark outfit. I sometimes consider it an alternative to black for casual clothes since it gives me a lot of the same associations (power, strength, sexiness, and rebellion) but it's actually a "real" color. I also have dark brown hair, so red really compliments it.
    - Pink: too risky for my taste and doesn't work well with my complexion at all.
    - Orange: I only like it when it's a pattern, contrast stitching, or the inner part of a dark jacket. Looks too flashy and tacky as a dominating color in my opinion, as well as an inferior version of red or camel.
    - Brown: dark brown as a dominating color to me gives out the impression that the person is old, poor, shy, and insecure. Works better for accessories. A camel coat, light brown leather jacket, or camel suede shoes however are things I love and to me give out associations like warmth, power, calmness, and confidence.
    - Green: bright green looks too tacky and flashy despite being my favorite color on its own. Dark green I think looks great, but I only really wear it when I'm out in the woods or go camping.
    - Blue: I like navy and sky blue, but true blue is my least favorite color. Most of my jeans are navy, as well as a couple of my sweaters, and I have a sky blue short-sleeve shirt and dress shirt and a light-wash denim jacket. For the most part however, I don't wear blue that much since I like red a lot better, but blue is still a good alternative to black or grey.
    - White: easily the color I use the most when it comes to t-shirts, polo shirts, and dress shirts, and I have a couple of white hoodies and one white cableknit sweater. I think it's highly versatile, but I would need a different color to either dominate the outfit or add the extra detail; only wearing white, black, and grey looks like something is missing in my opinion.
    - Black: I like black for sweaters, jackets, polo shirts, and shoes since I have very dark hair and stubbles (kinda like Alex Costa). However, I always have to wear blue jeans or grey chinos to not look too dull, and I always wear white or grey underneath if I wear a black jacket (as well as blue jeans). Black jeans look great if the top is red, light blue, white, or light grey. I actually like black suits though and think a colored tie (red, blue, or purple) or pocket square can help, but that's just me and my country apparently (people always give me compliments though)
    - Grey: I use it a lot for sweaters and I think it's a good contrast for my hair and compliments my skin complexion. In addition, I have light grey chinos if I'm using a dark top, and I also have a charcoal and a medium grey suit, as well as a light grey sports coat. Easy color to match in my opinion and also a good alternative to black, but I need some "real" colors in the outfit too like red or blue.
    - Yellow: too tacky and flashy yet again. Used to wear it a lot as a kid though, and it can work as a pattern color in some cases.
    - Gold: better than bright yellow anyway, but I think camel looks better.
    - Purple: too risky for my taste, but I have a lavender tie and polo shirt. The reason I like them is because I use the tie with a black suit and the polo shirt with white jeans, so they stay more neutral.

I agree on so many of your points! I usually sneak in pink with my socks. I have some hot pink socks that I wear with my darker, bleaker outfits. I wear some faded, dark jeans, my Docs, and a simple navy blue t-shirt, the ones that stretch. And I usually put on suspenders or my pink belt. It does wonders when women approach you because it’s a conversation starter “ what’s with the belt” and bada-bing-bada-boom, now you’re chatting with new people and making new experiences.

Well I think black is a strong colour as well for casual clothes, and I'm thinking about t-shirts (every rocker or metalhead like me has a full collection of hard rock or band's merchandise t-shirts), black boots, leather jackets, some pieces of jewelry like leather or steel bracelets and necklaces. I think there's a big dichotomy between the extreme formality, when dressing up, and the ruggedness, when dressing casually, of the colour black.

I just came across your channel recently and I don't know why, but I like watching your videos. I am a woman and I love fashion. I think you are great and I'm sure a lot of men are benefiting from your great advice. But I have to say that your green tie totally clashes with the blue shirt. Please don't pair blue with green. That color combination is an absolute no no. I really love everything else. Keep up the good work. You are awesome.

Thanks for your video! Very interesting and fun to watch. Could you please slow down your speaking speed? It is way to fast for a German like me 🥲

Hey Antonio, I'm going to have to disagree with you on the green trousers. Light green jeans, olive chinos, light olive slacks, are all go-tos for me. Btw love the green watch strap you're rocking!

Before I started having to wear safety yellow Tshirts. All my Tshirts were every color. Solids only but I had every color blues reds greens
I was slip seating team trucks. So T shirts and Jean's pack easy in a single carryon "jump" bag.
