When I first saw this beautiful Mourning Dove all puffed up like a ball of yarn, I figured it had to be somewhere chilly, and then I saw you were from Michigan. I've Loved birds since I was a kid. We always had feeders and suet cages. I can hear your cat's water fountain. Lol. I have one too, and 4 old cats. My fondest memory of a Mourning Dove was when my father was in hospice. There was a tree outside his window, and all I could hear was the soulful cry of that dove. My father used to do woodworking and he had built a few birdfeeders when I was in school. So I'd like to think that Mourning Dove was a fitting bird to have been there then. He died the next day, at peace. Thank you for your videos. 😊
