Cardinals and friends at temporary feeder

Yesterday, the former platform feeder was wrecked by a squirrel jumping from above and crashing down on it! So in its place, we set up what was left of it while we are building the new feeder. They seem to be okay with it but some of them have been looking for the missing suet cages! I am hoping we can get the new feeder up today! Thanks for watching! Kalamazoo, Michigan

Yep the woodpecker was definitely disappointed in the absence of suet!!! He was perturbed!!

haha yes! Many of them were looking over the edges for the suet cages :)
