I love cardinals. We have so many around our house all year round. I learned recently they used to leave northern areas on the winter but over several decades they've become a year round northern bird. Probably due to people like me feeding them so much because they're great to have around!
We have a number in Arizona, but not as many as Nebraska where I'd see them on our feeders in the yard. They are beautiful birds. Thanks for the comment!

The sight of a cardinal may also represent one of the following archangels from the Christian Bible: Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Uriel. These angels are thought to influence and encourage cultures bringing guidance, supervision, and protection. I was facing cancer surgery and the day before I saw several of them in my yard. I rarely see them. I was greatly encouraged and, today, I'm doing well.
