To this day I remember a friend of mine 'deciding' to leave the boring balcony where I was with my bf and joining the masses down below. At one point his glasses went flying off his head and I thought, "Oh, no, he'll never get those back!" He did though. No way would 'proper' Metal fans break his specs..not on purpose anyway.:-) I also remember Biff's silver spandex kecks, never to be forgotten lol. I am so pleased they are still going strong as the world needs bands like these to carry on for as long as possible.

This album is every bit as good as "Firepower"..What hurts Saxon is their Distribution.. Back in the Day they decided to tour More in Europe..Where Priest came to the USA..Big turning point in each Band's career.. A successful USA tour catapulted Priest..While Europe was treated to a top caliber band in Saxon..They would of Grown immensely in Popularity and broadened their Base... Again "Thunderbolt" could just as easy be the Top Metal Album of 2018.. (Both Thunderbolt and Firepower have so many similarities it is amazing)
Correct..But the Majority of the Tours were in Europe..While Priest Hit the US market Hard with Tours and Record distribution.. I believe my Copy of Thunderbolt came from Europe.. I picked up Firepower from the States..
Class band, got back into them with the orchestra album , acoustic thing, this sounds like Maiden "flight of Icarus" , but I have been listening to that for 30 odd yrs and its still sounds great...

Probably best song from a wonderful album. But hand on a heart, video is crappy. Which is such a shame considering how good song is. I can't stop listening it. But please guys you can make it better. Sacrifice video is simple yet awesome! Saxon is one of my favorite bands ever, but they need to make better videos. This looks like a work of an average youtube guy.
