I love this! It’s scary when you take the time to really analyze what you are spending! We spend so much on groceries, we try to eat a plant based diet and it definitely adds up- and we have not mastered it! I think we have the same outlooks on spending habits- we are pretty minimalistic too- but also have a lot of expenses for the boys. Great video! 💕❤️
I totally get it. Plant based diet can be quite cheap as well. But if you add organic products and vegan meats it gets very expensive. What kind of expenses do you have for the boys? Hobby clubs?
GPS Family Journal preschool, museum and zoo memberships, food, food and food 🤣 we run a kind of lean approach to finances but these kids can eat! 😂💕❤️
Love the little shopping cart at the store! This is a cool idea! I never budget so I don’t know what we spend every week... Racecar carriage!!! Love it! So great that you buy lots of organic foods. I love a lot of the new plant based meats coming out but they are expensive.
I agree. A lot new vegan meats on the market, but they cost more than meat itself. Some of them are really good, but we don’t buy it often. We buy stuff organic if the price is not totally crazy. Like 20% difference from regular product . If it’s double, we buy normal stuff. It would be actually interesting to see how much family spends in states
Does it? I heard that groceries are quite expensive here. We don’t eat out much because it’s expensive. It easily can be 40 EUR for all of us just for one time.
Yup... Money flies in Finland. And as you said you didn't include mortgage and hoitovastike for example. They add up quickly also. But salaries are also higher here compared to other places, so it compensates. And wait until your kids starts to have his own hobbies. They are really expensive in Finland!
So true. And also a lot of things in Finland are free or very cheap especially for families. Like in our previous video. What do you think? Do you spend more per week or less?
@@gpsfamilyjournal7036 not sure. Maybe less in groceries. Maybe you use more organic foods which are more expensive. We probably spend more in transportation because of the car and then kids hobbies take a lot of time and money. But they are important and they develop children so much that it is money well spent.

I’m looking forward to the time when Sebi will get a hobby club. In Helsinki enrolling age is 4 for most of the clubs. Definitely money well spent
