We are a family of 3: Galina, Petri and Sebastian. We live in Finland and speak 3 languages at home: English, Russian and Finnish.
GPS stands for the first letters of our names. It also stands for Global Parenting System. The term Petri has come up with :) For us it means to live in a global world, accepting and appreciating different cultures, to grow our son in international atmosphere.
We post videos every Sunday about our family adventures. We try to show useful tips for families with kids about different activities and places.
We are keen on growing community of families who love traveling with their kids, speak different languages , enjoy simple things as well as grand adventures all together.
We would like to find family friends to travel with us!

What an experience to visit a reindeer farm in Lapland! It was a first time for all of us.
We have learnt so much about reindeers. They are so intelligent and majestic animals!

This is how I overcame being shy and build up the confidence to start speaking in Finnish. I am actually speaking Finnish in this video and it was a bit embarrassing to listen to all the grammar mistakes I made while I was cutting the video. I am not perfect. Our 1 week of holiday in Loviisa came to the end. We learnt a lot about swans, had a great time with our friends, biked, played and enjoyed all kinds of weather in there. Thank you very much! We will be back!

We keep exploring as a family this summer in Finland. Welcome to Loviisa! It is a small town about 1 hour away from Helsinki. I had 1 week of holiday while Petri was still working. So we decided to spend a week by the sea, but close enough to the city, so Petri can still get to work every day.

This is our first trip abroad after Coronavirus started to ease up in the northern Europe. Now we know how Tallinn looks like without tourists! It was great. Midsummer a.k.a. Juhannus is celebrated in Finland in the end of June. Traditionally the weather at these days is cold and rainy, but this year 2020 was an exception and we enjoyed so much sunshine and heat wave. Our trip to Gran Canaria in March 2020. We visited sand dunes of Mas Palomas, Playa de Tirina, light house near Punta de Sardina, Las Palmas and Holiday World. It was one of our most happiest moments of 2020 so far! I am getting so excited and happy as a child when i see them. Especially wild dolphins! We feel so grateful that we could meet them. We have had a trip to Canary Island in March 2020. The day we got home there was an announcement of Coronavirus pandemic by WHO. So we were quarantined for 2 weeks. Our life changed and we felt like we need to document it for ourselves.
