Thanks for sharing the situation where you are! Glad your family is safe and healthy, I hope you guys are able to weather this time of self-isolation together! Definitely a good time to be teaching your son more about germ safety, but with two very little ones I completely understand how they always put things in their mouths!
Thank you for you comment. It’s true, almost impossible! He understands everything, he repeats after me. But when he is into some game his fingers go back to the mouth. I’m glad he learnt sneezing into his sleeve though. Some kind of progress. How are guys doing? Stay safe!
Thank you. I’m thinking about fear a lot nowadays, because every visit to Facebook brings a wave of fear. I should follow Petri’s advice and only read necessarily updates ... Fear is not helping anyhow. We try to stay calm, eat healthy and walk in the forest. Peace, love and health to you and your!
We still have toilet paper in the house, but I am not using it any more! You can't imagine how much I am upset with all this TP issue. Now it should be a time for humankind to show how good we can be to each other and it has been awful to see some of the things we are seeing.Keep safe, no panic, just let' think of what we can do to help all of us being safe.
I find this amusing that people panic, I live in Finland and i always have food for couple months just because I am too lazy to go shopping so when I go I buy enough for weeks.
@@gpsfamilyjournal7036 fruits and vegetable sure can sometimes run out, but some of those can last pretty long. It is mostly lack of those which gives motivation to go shopping 😁
We have a similar situation here in Scotland (and wider UK) with empty shelves. This behaviour we also find irrational, stupid and unfair. I don't believe there is any issue with the supply chain but we have seen a demand spike which does nothing other than put vulnerable people at more risk and induce more panic. We are buying only what we need, nothing excessive. I hope this behaviour will subside soon. Currently we don't have any lockdown, schools are still open, I'm expected to go to work on Tuesday as normal but I think over the next day or two we might be given some different advice so watching this space! What's trickier to judge is whether now to stop swimming lessons etc and normal things we do with the children. I'm feeling like we probably should limit this because children can be very infectious without really showing symptoms of Covid-19, therefore it's not socially responsible to expose them to other people, especially older ones. We are supposed to go to Tenerife in May and this might now be cancelled. Jet2 has stopped flying to Spain so we'll see. It's just changing all the time so we have to be flexible and patient for the greater good. Take care guys xx
China has almost got over the virus. They had it worst than any other country and they haven’t experienced any grocery shortages. I really don’t like this hysteria and freaks me out. We have stopped all the social stuff for Sebi for the reason you mentioned. Also because this guy keeps putting his fingers into mouth, so I don’t trust him in public. You also just follow health guidelines from the officials in here and try to stay calm. Petri was allowed to go to work because he doesn’t work close to people and goes to work by own car.
As I understood, Finland has closed borders yle.fi/uutiset/osasto/news/thursdays_papers_closed_borders_rehn_demands_action_and_a_plea_for_pants/11264994 Only return of Finnish citizens is allowed. I don’t know how does it work in you situation though... how is it in Thailand now?
I have residence visa, we go back to Finland every summer for work both me and my wife. The point is where is the better place to stay to handling corona? Because in Thailand people are not honest, when they say yes are not really yes. It’s hard for me to believe what they saying. In another hard the temperature now at noon almost 40c’ that is good to stop corona.
I would stay there. If you are able to afford your life there (work remotely) then it’s a better choice. 40C is good for killing corona. Avoid social gatherings, keep distance from people, wash your hands a lot and try not to touch your face. If you come here you go straight to quarantine for 2 weeks and then recommended self isolation after that. So you just gonna sit at home all the time. If you can do your work remotely it’s okay.
Funny thing that there is no shortage of food at all. There is enough food for everyone as usual. But because people act irrationally and buy in huge amounts some things disappear for a day or two from the shelves. Stay safe! Hugs!
I am heading for Finland for a holiday in April from Australia .. there is no problem with toilet paper, we manufacture it here .. we are just NUTS ...
Haha! 😆 same here! We produce toilet paper in here and have a bidet shower in every home. I don’t get the point. I hope in April flights are open, because many of them are canceled now

Just visited LiDL and they have mostly everything but still some of them are less than normal
But that is the point. There is no actual shortage of food. People just buying stuff hysterically , scaring other people

ANNDD no you wont :) IDIOT!
You can always go to another store and buy your things.. ;)
Yes, we can. We have time and opportunity. But not all people could afford driving around the city looking for stuff
I think me and mom already got it and recovered from it. Idk though, maybe it was a normal flu
I think it would be the best if you got a light form and recovered quickly. So no need to worry any more
