Try turning up the power limit % slider on MSI Afterburner for the flashed rx 580 2048sp, I bet it increases your performance and eliminate some of the stuttering.
what i learned if you brick one you can flip switch boot windows then while in windows on flash tool flip switch and reflash the bios and fix bricked one from another bios on card i thought that was pretty cool not shure if all cards with bios switches let you do that.
Hi, i currently flashed a sapphire Rx 470 8gb mining edition card but there is still UKNOWN’S. Gpu and memory clock remain at 0 MHz. Could you please help me? Thank you in advance 😅
I do not recommend doing this with any of the chinese variants as they are fairly fine tuned to work properly. Bricking it or making it unstable is almost a guarantee.

@Chomsuyah BIOS flash is changing the identity of the card and overclocking is changing the clockspeed. Though he could have achieved extra performance from overclocking, maybe he wanted more support exclusive to the RX 500 series
Yeah. Polaris bioses are basically interchangeable as long as the ram is supported. All that's being achieved here is a minor overclock that you can more easily apply in the drivers. The most effective change is changing the ram timings in the bios. The old trick was to copy a slower mhz strap into the top strap. The problem with this is that the signature changes, which requires another tool to mod the drivers to avoid code 43.

I have a 590 and I look at it most of the time pretty weak compared to 3070ti I use.It's good to have though for projects and testing systems.

It is using the same exact die ad the rx580 2048, so its not needed

If you look at the RX 570 you will see some go as hi as 1340 flash that BIOS should be the best option .
I have RX 590 GME nitro plus and I get a lot of driver timeouts why they can't just give us stable drivers
use custom amernime drivers

No. The 2048sp bios requires an 8gb card.
