Would love to see this. I do not care for the traditional granny square although my grandmother and Aunts had one in their living room. They had black trim one. I want to make something for my children to have and cherish after I have gone to be with the Lord.
This is beautiful! I love scrappy projects when they are well executed like this! The little granny squares offer so much concentrated variation in color in a smaller space that just makes you feel happy! The biggest advantage to a big project for any crafter is that the process is what makes the finished product so much more enjoyable!

Emma it is coming along so beautifully. I see that you have added more yarn to your bowl, so what size are you going for and have you given any thought to finishing the outer edge? This has inspired me to create this blanket using merino wool sock yarn that I have lots of and I’m going to a lap/throw blanket.
