I ran the tail in my C4 back in 2004 with 15 other Corvettes...........to say we got stares going through the town of Helen would be an understatement.
Such an amazing time time and none of us had any idea what to expect and how crazy it would get in pigeon forge. Cant wait for the next video
I'm going to try and get it finished as soon as I can, because I can't wait for everyone to see the footage. I just have to catch up on work, too lol
Good to see your Z06 had no problems on the drive down. Looks like all the work done on the car in previous videos has paid off. Can’t wait to see how you do on the Tail of the Dragon. I hope to go on that road someday soon.
I was nervous leading up to the trip, but it handled the trip like a champ. In the 6 days of the trip, I clocked right about 3,000 miles of driving, (much of it aggressive), and it didn't skip a beat.
I highly recommend making your way up there. It's truly an unbelievable experience.
Just recently Flew to Arizona and Drove back a procharged header Cam C5Z over a 1000 miles back to Dallas. I feel your pain! Pretty sure I was deaf by the time I got back... but will always be a good memory.
You're in DFW as well??
@@ChaseFarrow Yeah Is there a Facebook group for rides and meets?
Rallies are usually great experiences. I like the long drives.
Definitely. This was my 3rd one. I absolutely love it. It's grueling at times, but the challenge is what makes it so unbelievably rewarding.
Bro holy shit the production of this video is like the production of a million subscriber channel. Good work dude! You earned yourself a subscriber
That means a lot, man! I've got several more videos from this trip that I can't wait for everyone to see!
Does your tunnel get hot AF on these long drives? I feel like my center console is scalding my leg after a few hours.
I have the Design Engineering full tunnel heat shielding kit, which helps, but it still gets mighty warm. Makes long drives kind of annoying.
(03 Z, Corsa Extreme + X pipe, stock headers.)
It definitely gets warm, but not what I'd call hot, no.
Loved seeing an SRT-4 in tow with you all!
I'll always have a soft spot for those things ❤️
@@ChaseFarrow Same here!
Great Job !!!
Great content man!
Thank you!! I've got a lot more coming next year 💪
Chase... give us more modded Vette Car sounds brother -- i'm tuning in again next time.
I'm actually trying to step up my production game, so I've got a new mic that I'm going to try and use to mic up the exhaust for future videos!
Man if you ever do to the corvette museum that would be a good road trip too!
Hell yeah, man. That one would be really cool
Just did 1500 over the weekend to get my new 03 back home. Stock was a super comfortable ride the whole way
Hell yeah! They deserve to be driven!
I ended up behind you guys in wears valley i was in a white c5, all of the cars sounded awesome!
No shit? That's awesome!
If you have an IG, shoot me a pic of your car! I'm trying to remember a white C5 while we were out there!
im a local to the area and just happened to see you guys pass by so i hopped in lol@@ChaseFarrow
will do!
sick video
What kind of wheels are they ?
Apex EC7s
Tail of the dragon also in NC too right
The tail actually technically begins in North Carolina, and but only about the first 3/4 mile of it is in NC!
eh.. tbh the front splitter didn't look good.
Idk. The front of the 5th gens looks empty without a front lip/splitter.
No yeah I agree. but with the colors and the tail lights it looks really modern. so if you put that one on it makes it look cheap and old. if he put one on it that matched the shape of the front bumper. lol not my car but it is still a very beautiful car..@@ChaseFarrow
@HaveAFreakinglaugh. I think I see what you mean. I know a couple of people who did the 6th gen front end conversions on the 5th generation. It looks cool, but I don't know how I feel about it
yeah yeah no exactly. I love the look just. oof not thefront slitter. but im glad he's ok though @@ChaseFarrow
@HaveAFreakinglaugh. For sure. Fortunately, the Fiesta that hit it took it like a champ lol
Cars breaking, seats hurting backs, knees aching, “pretty brutal” etc. Not sure what this is promoting but it doesn’t seen too positive.
Achiness and the brutal feeling is just part of driving almost 1,000 miles straight, especially in a car that doubles as a track car.
Doing an auto rally will leave you sore and drained, both mentally and physically. But, it'll also connect you with some of the best people, and be one of the most amazing and memorable experiences of your life.
If you'd like, check out the other videos in this series and it will make a bit more sense.
