Our Catholic faith … I have sacred things throughout my home. A cross in every room. Happy to see you share how you thought out your sacred place … Beautiful peaceful shrine. Love it.
Amen! The "Altar" is something I always need to reflect more on. The home being the domestic church should have some kind of physical altar where we can offer up prayer to God or just have sacred images no ? Thanks for watching, God bless you!
Yes we pray to statues and we pray to Mary. Simple as that. Protestants can see it as they want to, why are we constantly apologising or explaining to someone who doesnt want to understand anyway. Just be catholic and pray for those who dont understand. I love this prayer altar.❤
The Catholic Church will always be attacked. If the day came and we were no longer attacked for our beliefs then I think that's when we worry. We must be unapoligetically Catholic, God bless you!
It is an essence if the real person. We knwo it is not them but the spiritual beings they represent can pray for us jsut as any person we ask can pray for us. Spirit never dies "Energy never dies" nd if we do die and cannot spiritually be alive we msut then worry and all our Lord did for us is in vain! The object is we are alive in spirit and we are spiritual beings. W live in hell or heaven but we know one thign we all wil live on after this life. Yes, people may well ask us to pray for them, even if we physically are not here. Would we say "NO>" We would pray and our Lord could hear us, He love us all and our spirit lives on with Him. So we face statues of icons and pray yet through this we are askign the spiritual part of the image to pray it is our reminder of the spiritual being, You are right it loks slike we are talkign to an inanimate object but it is our reminder of the true spirit .
Looks great. Maybe the best use of the interior of the cabinet would be to store seasonal stuff like a nativity or Advent candles that you only need once a year?
Thankyou for your video. The cabinet is lovely. Too close to the tv, in my opinion...My Irish Catholic Mother brought us up without tv. We have one now in our home, but in a cabinet we can close. We should not refer to Christ and Mary only in the past tense. God is Omnipresent. We meet Christ Resurrected in His Holy Eucharist every time we receive Him, or adore Him in His Blessed Sacrament. Mary is alive with Christ right now. May God bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand!
Good suggestion concerning the TV, just a little limited on space. And a good reminder to keep Jesus and Mary alive even in our speech. It is very true, Jesus is alive because he rose from the grave...that means his very human heart beats with love for us in every moment. Thanks for watching, God bless you!
Beautiful altar. The taller statue of Mary in the back is Our Lady of Lourdes. The next tallest one is Our Lady of Fatima. The newer-looking one is Our Lady of Charity (I assume your mother is Cuban ☺)
Isaiah55:6&7,"Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts.Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon." Repent, receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior today. This is God's invitation for redemption, Jesus loves you so much and he is the only WAY to eternity.God bless you
"Happiness is just a coffee cup away" 💯% agree. God bless 🙏
Amen! Jesus + Coffee is life lol.

Some statues apparently move?
I have that figure in the center!
The Pieta? Every Catholic house needs one :)
As a catholic, there is something seriously WRONG. You need creamer & sugar in that coffee.
I don't discriminate haha...I'll take coffee any which way !
@@laitycatholic4038 LOL gotcha! Beautiful video!
Are they all blessed by the priest?
Not all of them unfortunately !
Miracle it got to you undamaged.

The arrogance of some protestants 🙄... Trying to save us "poor Catholics" from our icons 😂... Good job with the altar. I'm currently working on ours!
