QUESTION: How to Meditate on the Rosary?

A couple of people asked us to share how to meditate on the Rosary.
In this video we go very deep in making the Rosary come alive, and have GREAT meaning.
We give tips on how to use our imagination in the way God intended, rather than selling them out to the foibles of the evil one.

I pray the rosary every day. I have a lot of trouble concentrating. I have Parkinson's and dementia. Please pray for me so I could concentrate on the mysteries. Thank you.

Now in my 60's and returning to the Church....the Rosary broke a decades long addiction that I couldn't shake. Nothing worked but praying the Rosary finally, I repeat finally, freed me from that slavery. Amen.

Praying the Rosary freed me from lustful vices and led me to the Catholic Church with a DEEP hunger for the Eucharist and the Sacraments but first to receive First Communion and Confirmation in May 2024!

I will say the rosary while I’m cleaning house. It makes the housework go faster and more pleasurable. Mary is helping me clean!

Saying the Our Father and Hail Mary prayers very slowly with my eyes closed has helped me tremendously to meditate on the mysteries. Also in the Hail Mary, when you say the Holy name of Jesus, I pause and say something to remind me of the mystery: Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus, who was scourged at the pillar for us, Holy Mary, Mother of God.........

What's worked for me also is meditating on how I can submit my will to God (annunciation), how I can serve and love other people (visitation), what I can give up or what I can do do practice detachment (nativity), ask Mother Mary to present my sufferings, petitions, and thanksgiving to God (presentation at the temple), ask Mary to always lead me to Jesus, not to be separated from Him, realizing always that Jesus is truly present in the tabernacle. "Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?" (finding Jesus).

I was blessed with an encounter with Jesus recently in a dream and the beauty extended into my day and during my rosary time. What a heavenly time it was too. I got a glimpse of the total and complete love of the heart of Jesus for us and was in complete adoration. He loves us so much it’s unbelievable.

Sisters, please pray for my nephew and niece, Stephen and Elizabeth, who lost their six months old baby, Lucas Anthony, to cancer in April.

Please pray for my daughter coping with anxiety and depression. She no longer attends holy Mass. she was a cathequist, extreme eucharistic minister and lector. She doesnt socialize and separates herself from interacting with family who love her dearly. She works thank God but thats about it. I love her so much and feel guilty that maybe I didnt see her when she was a child and experiencing loneliness, abandonment and not understood by everyone. Shes a good woman and Im sure she loves us a lot but cant express it because of her pain. Please pray that she opens up to someone of faith and caring that can walk with her so she may heal. I cry frequently because its difficult to see her this way and being able to help her. I try to imitate Mother Mary in her silence and love her until shes ready to heal. She doesnt love herself. I have just returned from a visit to the Sanctuary of Fatima.. and by the guidance of the Holy Spirit have been led to listen to this explanation on meditating on the Mysteries of the Rosary.. henceforth I know praying the Rosary will be more meaningful and grace-filled.

If you have a loved one with anxiety and/or depression please pray a rosary to Our Lady of Sorrows for emotional and spiritual healing. Fr. Ripperger says she is very powerful. Ask her help through her own mystical agony and passion during the agony and passion of her Divine Son.
