I feel that you are under the protection of the HOLY HEART of Jesus Christ. I had my conversion in 1994 at the sanctuary at Paray-le-Monial. But my way in the Catholic Church was & is very very hard. Devotional things don´t "help" me to get closer to Jesus and Mary.
I am 14 years old and when I have my own house I really want to have a prayer room it's always been something I've wanted, right now we have an small prayer area upstairs were we always pray the Rosary it has a picture of the virgin Mary and the holy/sacred family.
It is very inspiring to see children and teenagers like you, who have a strong faith and love for Jesus and our Blessed Mother. May you share this faith to others of your age. And pray that all kids will find holiness and the true purpose of life .
I’m also a teenager, I’m trying to get really strong in my Catholic faith🙏 Sometimes I wish my friends would understand why I’m so religious and why I don’t participate in whats “cool”.
Your altar and prayer room looks really good. I have a little altar and my daughter loves to pray there almost everyday. She loves holding the statue of marry and the crucifix while praying. It's always nice to see that our children are falling in love with our faith.

My sister had a stroke at age 18 and my mother prayed to Our Lady of health (Valankanni) and she was healed. My patron is St Anthony and he has always helped me through my difficult times, so I have a small statue of him in my room.
My mother just passed and I inherited her Mary and St. Joseph statues along with a Sacred Heart and Christ the King cross. I'm looking to set up an altar in my home.
Sorry for your loss. May her soul be quickly brought into the beatific vision (heaven)! Hopefully she is already in Heaven (Purgatory is not a necessary step if one does their detachment from sin on earth), but it is always good to pray for the souls of the dead and to ask for their prayers!

I was blown away looking at your prayer room. I intend to set up something of a home altar when we move. I want to get a kneeler that I saw on Amazon, which looks like the one used by the priest on EWTN when they say the rosary. You mentioned a book called Scriptural Rosary. I use an app by that same name. They included an Apple watch app too and it allows me to put today's mysteries on my watchface. I absolutely love your prayer space! It is absolutely beautiful. I have one in my room as well but it’s more of an altar than a space because it’s a small corner of my room and I keep my books in another place, but it still serves as a special space to pray. I would like to mention that the icon you referred as the holy family is actually an icon of the Romanov martyrs(The Russian royal family that was murdered by the Bolsheviks in 1918, who led the Russian revolution ) : Tzar Nicolas II, his wife Tsarina Alexandra and their five children, Olga, Tatiana, Maria, Anastasia, and Alexei - who were canonized as saints by the Russian Orthodox Church. It’s ok if you interpret the icon as the holy family but it’s still important to make that distinction. But beyond that it is a beautiful space full of the Holy Spirit and rich in faith. May God bless you and your family, living and deceased, and keep up the wonderful work you do on your channel!
I need to put a lot more effort into my family prayer time. I pray for my family by myself but to get my husband and new born baby to pray together as a family Is a little hard. My mom tells me every day we need to pray together as a family. My husband is always ready to pray with me but with having a new born it is so difficult because at night I am so tired. But.....after watching this video I will be trying even harder. I'll show my hubby this video 🙂 take care.
Maybe try and pray the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, you won't take more than 10 min, and you can put the intention of being able to pray more often with your family...I was praying the rosary with my grandmother at 4 years, so, it's never to early to teach the children the way of the Lord. I have religious art that was handed down to me from my grandmother. I find it to be very beautiful and inspiring..... My husband made a grotto with a statue of Mary in our yard that we can see from our porch. There are rocks in the grotto from places we traveled; also one rock from his family's homestead in Ireland. I like to say my rosary there in the nice weather. The artwork is throughout the house, but people are always surprised to see a large statue of Jesus in my office. I tell them it keeps me honest. 😊. It's also a good reminder to say a prayer.

Loved this. I had a prayer room but relinquished it when we felt called to let others in our home who are in a life transition (a waiting station for those in temporary financial, medical or hospice need). So I basically have decorated my entire home in Catholic art and now that kids are grown and moved out, I have created our family room as a prayer reading area. But as many tell me, each room draws one to include Christ or our Mother or the Holy Family into family time no matter the room. And I found prayers to help me remember to pray in each room no matter what is taking place. Prayers for doing laundry (courtesy of Marjorie Holmes), prayers for peeling potatoes in my kitchen or washing dishes (Mother Teresa's prayers here). My home is a little haven while I wait for heaven and I pray the peace in these walls reflect a small glimpse of Christ's peace too. God bless you and thank you for sharing your home altar
You are very creative💕 I have small altars everywhere..one in the living room, in my room and place that we most likely gather... but not in the kitchen 😂We pray the rosary every day.. along with litanies or novenas for that particular month. I would have been thrilled to find built in shelves! One of my problems (aside from trying to find budget friendly religious items) is finding a place in our home to put our home alter. We hope to build eventually and having a set prayer area is super important to me!

I found in the Gospels the answer to the question of how I will receive the crown of eternal life with the Father. Yes, it's very inspiring. We have an altar in every room- either the icons are hanged on the wall or placed on a small table. It's very dusty here in the Philippines due to pollution so I cover them with cling plastic. I just greet our Lord and mother Mary when passing by the altars and do my prayers and readings in my bed room because it's the only air conditioned room that we have. The weather here is too warm the whole day and some times I stay up late at night to feel the natural temperature we used to have years ago.
I'm so glad to see this. I've had a prayer room (spare walk-in closet) in the past. Now it's mainly my bedroom where I keep all of my Christian items sitting out on display. Love, love, love it.
We have our pictures in the living room and my mum has a picture of the holy family in her bedroom and I have a picture of Jesus and Mary in my bedroom again they bring comfort and make me focus on what's important. I love visting Catholic churchs too.

This is the prettiest home altar that I have seen.
I have religious art that was handed down to me from my grandmother. I find it to be very beautiful and inspiring..... My husband made a grotto with a statue of Mary in our yard that we can see from our porch. There are rocks in the grotto from places we traveled; also one rock from his family's homestead in Ireland. I like to say my rosary there in the nice weather. The artwork is throughout the house, but people are always surprised to see a large statue of Jesus in my office. I tell them it keeps me honest. 😊. It's also a good reminder to say a prayer.

Loved this. I had a prayer room but relinquished it when we felt called to let others in our home who are in a life transition (a waiting station for those in temporary financial, medical or hospice need). So I basically have decorated my entire home in Catholic art and now that kids are grown and moved out, I have created our family room as a prayer reading area. But as many tell me, each room draws one to include Christ or our Mother or the Holy Family into family time no matter the room. And I found prayers to help me remember to pray in each room no matter what is taking place. Prayers for doing laundry (courtesy of Marjorie Holmes), prayers for peeling potatoes in my kitchen or washing dishes (Mother Teresa's prayers here). My home is a little haven while I wait for heaven and I pray the peace in these walls reflect a small glimpse of Christ's peace too. God bless you and thank you for sharing your home altar
You are very creative💕 I have small altars everywhere..one in the living room, in my room and place that we most likely gather... but not in the kitchen 😂We pray the rosary every day.. along with litanies or novenas for that particular month. Funny because I have to prepare fresh flowers to all the altars 🌺 I been offering fresh flowers to Our Blessed Mother ever since...I love your collection too..💕God bless!🙏🏼

I would have been thrilled to find built in shelves! One of my problems (aside from trying to find budget friendly religious items) is finding a place in our home to put our home alter. We hope to build eventually and having a set prayer area is super important to me!

I found in the Gospels the answer to the question of how I will receive the crown of eternal life with the Father. It is in the Gospel of St John, chapter 5, verse 24, where Jesus said to those who would listen that: 'I tell you the truth, whoever hears my words and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.' A simple yet profound Gospel Truth which I believed and have crossed over from death to life.

Yes, it's very inspiring. We have an altar in every room- either the icons are hanged on the wall or placed on a small table. It's very dusty here in the Philippines due to pollution so I cover them with cling plastic. I just greet our Lord and mother Mary when passing by the altars and do my prayers and readings in my bed room because it's the only air conditioned room that we have. The weather here is too warm the whole day and some times I stay up late at night to feel the natural temperature we used to have years ago.
I'm so glad to see this. I've had a prayer room (spare walk-in closet) in the past. Now it's mainly my bedroom where I keep all of my Christian items sitting out on display. Love, love, love it.

We have our pictures in the living room and my mum has a picture of the holy family in her bedroom and I have a picture of Jesus and Mary in my bedroom again they bring comfort and make me focus on what's important. I love visting Catholic churchs too.
