The Microsoft Modern Mobile mouse is one of the best for iPad but not present in this selection. Very reliabe one, compact with quick bluetooth pairing via a simple push button. Beautiful finishes : magnetic battery door for batteries with great connectors without springs. My favorite in mobility or at home for my iPad.
About the scrolling thing I think it's not a big issue I mean if u r using mouse you might have a keyboard too so that'll do it perfectly if you can compromise it's fine 😊
I have been using the Logitech M585 for many years. I switched from the Magic Mouse at that time because the Magic Mouse wouldn't move smoothly on the table and was difficult to lift due to its ergonomics. Additionally, it couldn't connect to multiple devices simultaneously. Operating the Magic Mouse was also challenging if my hand or fingers were wet.
I will stick with magic mouse for better scrooling. Thank you! 😊

The scroll wheel is TERRIBLE with all mouses besides the Apple one. Super inconsistent. Wish Apple would allow better support for third-party accessories

I have the unpopular opinion that the magic mouse is the best mouse for iPads. True, it lacks customization. But you get the best of both worlds: the functionality of a mouse, and some of the gestures of a trackpad. It's also very portable. True, it's expensive. But if you buy it used or refurbished, you're good to go.

Very informative, thank you! I have a question tho. Can we select a specific text, like half a sentence in Word using mouse? I have logitech pebble and I just can't do it. I'm working on my thesis and need to edit text constantly. I can select one word or whole paragraph by clicking 3 times. But I want to select phrases, some part of a paragraph or a sentence. Is there a way? Is it possible to do this with magic mouse, if so I'm going to go ahead and buy one. I couldn't find any info on this. I'd appreciate it if you could help me.

No, it works directly over Bluetooth. I use it with an iPad mini 6 and it works great.
When I go into Accessibility I don't see Assisted Touch options on my Ipad.

haven’t heard or seen M890, but I saw M590 which is the silent mouse version of the M585.

yes, the M585 mouse can connect by bluetooth with the iPad Mini. The performance should be similar with the iPad Pro.
With my iPad Air, I have magic keyboard and mouse. Minecraft PE has never been so easy
I just bought the magic mouse that I use on my iPad pro, I have a question, the cursor feels a bit jumpy, it feels not very accurate compared to a mouse on my PC. i can't predict as well where the cursor will end when I move my hand. Is that normal? Or do I have a faulty device?
try to see if changing the Tracking Speed in the Mouse & Trackpad settings may help 😉 good luck!

I thought of exchanging it whith a new one as I just bought it, and as such I'll see if that's how the mouse works on the iPad or that's a specific defect of the mouse.
I don’t see any difference of using the Magic Mouse with my iPad, compared to my Windows laptop and a logitech mouse. In both cases the mouse work fine.
