I compared them at the store today and unexpectedly, the K380 feels tremendously better! The K480's keys have a lot of play to the sides and it rattles. K380 keys are nice and neat, much better typing experience.
I have both. A white K380 and a black K480. These are really good keyboards. I used them both on my Ipad, phone, and as an additional keyboard to my laptop. The K480 is really heavy so it stays on my desk while the K380 is always in my backpack as my go-to keyboard. Typing is better in K380. Yes, the 480 is loud. I use a stand for my Ipad and use the slot on the K40 as my apple pencil holder. :)

I have the K380 and can wholeheartedly recommend it. I not only always use it with my iPad, but even with my Windows laptops when I know that I’ll be typing a lot. It is a fantastic little keyboard, the key travel is so consistent across all keys, it is quiet and just a joy to use.

These keyboards are best. Using k480 for making spreadsheet/Excel sheets on iPad with 'Complete keyboard Access' switched on doesn't work. As the arrow key inputs by user to navigate through rows and columns are mis-detected as inputs for navigation. I hope you understand what i meant😅. Switching off the 'Complete keyboard access' is needed for working on Excel/Spreadsheet. Just letting you know if someone asks you.
yes. i find it impossible to work with the “full keyboard access” because when i hit the space bar to go down or to anything, it opens another app from the dock, even wen its hidden. it automatically selects on of the apps with the highlight and stays even when in an app, or when the dock is hidden.
I have the Logitech keyboard and case for my IPAD Pro 11 inch but I would love a separate keyboard for when I’’m using my phone. And after watching this video I want to get the K480 because it has the slot for the ipad and phone so I don’t need to get a separate stand. Also I love the noisy taps on the keys.😂 Also it is just for home use and don’t need to lug it around, so the weight wouldn’t bother me.
Are you currently using the Logitech k380? The K480 indeed types louder and I do use it at home too, but not in the office as I am afraid my officemates will hate me 😆

Oddly, although the width of K380 (279mm) is the same as Macbook Pro keyboard's, but the key size/spacing on K380 appear to be more cramped. I'm not sure if this is just visual effect from its round-shaped keys. Any idea if the K480 is the same in this regard?
I bought Logitech K480 after see this video... I love this keyboard.. the only negative part about this keyboard is.. its bit heavy.. other than that, i just love it... well i dont know about others but for me i love the typing sound... thank you for the video :)

Hey Mindy, been following your k480 and k380 videos. Here is the thing, I don't mind the weight and the noise. I have mechanical keyboards but I I want a keyboard for my tablet just to read books or browsing not really aiming for extensive typing at all. And I'm not a big fan of low profile keys because of their short key travel. I feel like I would enjoy K480 but what Im worried is the typing feel of it. Just wandering if the wobbling really slows downs the typing? and the cradle is any useful at all?
The cradle of the K480 can fit most tablets except the iPad 12.9 and for sure won’t fit the massive Samsung Tab S8/9 ultra. I recommend using a case with your tablet as it can slide out if not. In Mexico we have a slightly different layout for the keyboard and 1 extra character. We get a special spanish layout, but I suppose that is due to the fact that there are many spanish speaking countries around the world. I prefer the english layout tbh, I'm used to it.

In Finland we have couple of special letters (äåö) and I think here they sell the version which originally has those scandinavian letters, so no stickerrs here. :)
Im so sad, I bought the k380 just yesterday and no matter what i try the language change on my ipad pro does NOT work!! I am so frustrated!! I dont know if it will be fixed with the iPadOS 16, but i am about to return it 😞
Tablet/mobile tray is the only plus point for k480. Oh wait if you want to build your finger muscles please go for k480, that's how stiff the keys actually are. If you are a fast typist and you want comfort and accuracy in your typing, then definitely go for k380.

the phone sloted KB is fantastic. Very nice to use with iphone. Typing messages and emails on the phone is very easy. Worth .

in my simple observation by simply looking at the k380 and k480, the k480’s spacing is a bit bigger.

K 380 has nice rounded classic type writer keys but K480 has the dock.

K480 has a good dock and can hold the iPad for sure! Just make sure though it’s fully secured because the tablet can slide if it’s too thin.

on my kk380, i use fn+L to lock my ipad. its easier than ctrl+cmd+Q
Indeed the fn+L is the shorter way to lock the screen using the K380! 😊
