iOS 13 now has support for a mouse. So what is the best mouse for the iPad Pro?
I've been trying out a few with my 11" iPad Pro and I this Logitech Pebble really caught my eye, it's very low cost (around £19) and looks to have build quality.

Just bought a Pebble for my iPad Pro! Loved it! With the K380 keyboard, they are like dynamic duo!

The battery life is superb, the landscape camera is a winner for me, the shape is suitable for my carrying case. As part of my purchase, I threw in a case from ESR, and a Logitech Crayon to compliment my purchase. So far so good on my iPad. The Logitech Crayon works perfectly with it as well.
I just got mine yesterday and it perfectly works with my iPad 6th gen. I thought it was a little laggy but thanks to this video, now I know I could customize my settings.

Is it comfortable to hold? It looks too slim.
@@manishaarora715 For me, yes it's comfy. At first, it felt...awkward (?) since the curved part of the mouse which usually supports our palms is no longer present but I just got used to it.

Good review. Actually, the scroll wheel acts as a working third button. I use the Pebble with my iPad Air 3. Works very well and it is a great mouse for the price. Hopefully the system integration and app support get better over time. Scrolling is a mess for the most part. 😆
Hey thanks so much, yes I forgot to mention the scroll is also a button! Pretty cool! How are you finding it. Yes I agree if they make the mouse act a little more like a normal one, for me it will make the iPad 100X more useful!
Editors Keys Agreed, if they keep working on mouse & keyboard support, the iPad Air might very well replace my trusty HP Elite 2170p on the go. As for the Pebble, it‘s good for what it is: A very small, silent and comfortable mouse for a fair price, I definitely recommend it.

I have this logitech mouse. It's the best mouse I've used. There has been no hand pain or discomfort associated with its use. Its cheap, sturdy and ergonomically friendly. You wouldn't regret buying it.

With the release of iOS 13.4, I was able to pair my Pebble M350 right away, and use it as a mouse on my iPad Pro 2nd gen without going into the accessibility menu. Hopefully it works as well with my new 4th gen iPad Pro.

I have both, and the pebble feels so strange but I guess I just have to get used to it. It’s super loud when I move it across my matte desk, but I think you should be fine if you have a glass or marble table like he does.
It’s also very loud when sliding it across my wooden desk.

Yes mice like the Apple mouse or Logitech mic are now in the hundreds! Crazy isn't it!
Mouse keys does not change the tracking speed
It turns your keyboard into a mouse. It makes you unable to type with the 7, 8, 9, u, o, j, k and l keys
Many people will think that their ipad keyboard just broke because the keys dont work.
If you need to change the tracking speed, go to general -mouse and trackpad and select speed.

I bought this mouse specifically for my iPad. This is the best by far. I have a box full of mice , including Apple . None are better suited. I love it.

I have had ipad since 2009 but I stopped using it for about 2 years, until six months ago m1 chip came out, 1tb, i just ordered another one, because they’re so cool, i might use the other one for display at my business booth
Thanks for the great product review. I did grab this one, and it's a great mouse. Very smooth. But I'm returning it. I know it says it's slim, but man it's small. I do have larger hands, but my wife has cute little tiny hands and when she picked it up she said "Nope". It's a little small. Great mouse, but on the Slim... :) Small side. IMO
Been using it with the Logitech Combo Slim. Such a perfect combination. I ditched my laptop already :)

Got the m590 over this recently and it's underrated af to say the least.
The Logitech flow tech is awesome for someone who works with 2 devices.
The silent clicks are a real treat,
Much more customizable buttons
And horizontal scrolling which is quite useful for iPads.
Also, 24 months battery life.
EK, guys should be recommending m590 over this.

Most of the features are working well for me. Only issue is scroll speed, it seems to vary depending on how I turn the wheel. Perhaps this is a feature and I’m just going to need to get used to it. I have tweaked all the settings but can’t seem to get this bit nailed. Great review thanks!

How to set up the double click right mouse button for app switcher? Have been trying to figure out that question without actually having an ipad. Point is I need this question answered so that I can decide if I want to buy Smart Keyboard Folio or the Magic Keyboard with the new iPad Air 4. I want to save some money cause I will be buying a MacBook Air as my secondary device. So I need to make sure I am making the right decisions.

What case/keyboard are you using?
Have you worked out how to zoom in and out using the mouse? Using a keyboard and mouse usually you can hold ctrl and use the scroll gesture.

OMG! Thank you for creating this video. I recently purchased a new M1 iPad Pro 12.9 (2021 | 2TB | Wifi+Cellular) and a Logitech 380 and Pebble 350. I paired everything and it all works great, but there were a few things I couldn’t do on the Pebble like scroll sideways on a page, so I would have to go to my new M1 MBP and use my Magic Keyboard, Mouse and Trackpad. I didn’t mind because switching was easy, but I don’t want to need to do this with items that should work properly. That was until I came across your RUclips video. I never turned on Assistive Touch or customized my mouse. Now I can! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 👏👏👏
Need your help to reply my prob. So i use magic keyboard and mouse m350 but unfortunately when i did typing using magic keyboard, the fonts won't appear or jump to next font. At the same time onscreen keyboard appeared. I am confused.

Hi Mark, I am unable to get the M350 in India, could you suggest an alternative model. The other models in the M series are available, but I am not sure if those would work with ipad

Hi, no this mouse cannot scoll left and right which is a shame.
I have this with my pro. It’s a lovely comfortable, quiet mouse. And also very compact. Perfect. The only tiny issue is that if you scroll very slowly if doesn’t start until a couple of clicks to respond so you need to go a little faster. You soon work around that tho and the iPad works so well particularly with the new iOS. I turn my scrolling direction to PC style rather than the touch scroll settings where it’s opposite.

Just got the mouse….my thoughts. It works for scrolling and the usual things a mouse should do. however I did find accessing home page and control centre by moving mouse into corner very hit and miss. It just does not work too well. Not sure if the Apple mouse works better. Will keep it for my Samsung laptop but might have to get the Apple.
I found the mouse okay for the usual scrolling and moving about however pushing it into the corner to access the control centre very hit and miss simply does not work too well so it is limited. Unfortunately I might have to get the Apple mouse to get full features.

Hey yes I might revisit the video... it works well, but there are no gestures on this mouse... so it' got me thinking an Apple Magic mouse would be best if you need those. This is still great if you want a cheap one.

The mouse lags a bit as it is a bluetooth mouse and those have issues but overall it’s really good for what it’s worth

Hey there - I have a very strange problem with my pebble when using luma fusion - I just can not scrub through the timeline - it just would not move an inch ^^

I’m not sure what luma fusion is but if you’re trying to scroll horizontally I’ve heard holding shift while scrolling does that
I don’t like that you have to turn assistive touch on. Doesn’t that mean, if you disconnect it, you have the annoying assistive touch icon on your screen?
Hey Jazmyn, good news since iOS13.4 you don't need to turn on assistive touch anymore for it to work.

Hi, nice well structured video! I can only agree with your comment about the introduction of the mouse support (and files structure) coming with iOS 13. I bought this mouse as well... but not on the back of your video (hope you can forgive me 😉). I love the feeling of the mouse. One thing I however noticed since the lastest updates to iPadOS, which brings ‘true’ mouse support, is that I can no longer have assistive touch on and mouse support at the same time. It completely messes with my keyboard entries especially in Safari (using Apple’s own slim folio on my iPad Pro 2018). Is this by design... or a bug... haven’t seen anything about this on the net?
Hey Romsel if you pair the mouse just through the bluetooth first, then turn on assistive touch it should work for you. Hope this helps. (Glad you're enjoying the microphone.)

I have a regular ipad with the logitech keyboard. The keyboard has a mousepad but lord it sucks lol. I do use my ipad sometimes as a laptop replacement since I share my laptop, so a separate mouse is needed. Will this work for the regular ipad, and just not the pro?

i just bought my logi pebble, but is is normal that my scroll wheel is other way around? like normally right if you move the scroll wheel up the page you are in (like example youtube) the page should go up. but mine is different it goes down ? is there a way to correct it ? hope that you can help me. it so hard to use huhuhuhu THANK YOU SO MUCH
Hi you can change this in your iPad, just go to settings and turn 'Natural scrolling off' from the mouse settings.
