save your money! don’t blow it all on a 90k set up. seriously im 35 now and wasted so much money on my 4runner build that I wish i would have saved or invested. its really not worth it. also buying a 23 tacoma a year before the new generation comes out is retarded.

Find a high mileage truck and build it with second hand products. Use all the money you saved to have fun.

Glad to see a local! Take your time on your build. That is when the build comes together best

@@timmy4368Yup, I've got a 2005 GMC Sierra. It has 150k miles on it and most of my money has been spent on wear items and maint so far.

When I lived in apartments after college and went to self serve car washes I always used the pressure washer on the soapy setting and blasted out the foaming brush. It helped clean it. Never really got scratches, but then I have never driven show/expensive cars.

I've been digging all these shop talk and shorter videos as well. You guys are too talented and have too cool of gear to wait to only see it on the big expeditions.

With as methodology as you are to planning the trips I’d have thought you would have a standard post trip checklist. Thx Tanner for this ShopTalk!

Cupping, especially on tires that are on a solid axle in the rear are probably more likely due to shock settings. I also imagine using a pyrometer to set your paved road air pressure with such varying loads would help you out a bit to.

Always love your channel's content. Will you guys be doing a build for new Tacoma 2024? Would love to see that.

Watching someone else do maintenance > doing my own maintenance.
    Whoops!

I am starting to overland, and i am not sure if it was done before, i've looked for it and did not find it. How do you guys clean your cooking wears while overlanding? Can you guys do an episode on that? Do you guys have a bucket of water tank and haul the grey water to the next town to dump it? etc. Much appreciated.

About to do the same with my 2018 TRD/OR. My build is much more basic tho!😂 What glass cleaner do you all use? I am looking for something to not only clean, but to eliminate that annoying haze that builds up over time on the inside.

Do you guys usually use non-Toyota fluids? Have you ever used a rope washer?

Would have thought you would have had some decent Allen keys that were socket based to go on a ratchet or cordless ratchet

It's good to check air filters and such after a trip but if you aren't tracking maint on some kind of app, I think you are doing it wrong.
