I really respect that you demonstrate cleaning h up your area. We do the same. I’m 60 and my Dad taught us early to make sure campsites look like no humans had been there, even if the trash was some other filthy human.
New subscriber here. I like how clean and organized you are when you fish and how you maintain your area. Shows how much you respect the outdoors and nature.
I love your videos! I watch them with my husband and you are by far my favorite if I watch with him. I love how humane you are. Love to watch you and your son! Also your cooking videos are awesome! I just wanted to tell you we love watching what you post.
Very good and successful day on this video. U And you're SO right about them bluefish, they certainly are much larger on the East Shores. I don't know if you have heard of John Skinner, but he catches plenty of them too from where he is from there. He catches them huge size Blues. Going out Wed Thu and possibly Fri at them Jetties. Maybe I'll see you around there. Until then, keep safe! 😉👍
Jetti fishing is always fun. But darn, getting set up for it is not that easy. I always compare it to getting the baby ready to go out for the day. 😅😅😅😅.....
It’s summer time and am fairly new to saltwater fishing, I’ve been looking for some spots to fish any recommendations? I live in Houston and willing to make a drive I’ve tried seawolf park and pier 61 in Galveston but no luck…. Would love to get onto some fish, where is this at? What jetty?

Welcome to the channel 👍
You are so organized. Appreciate you policing the area for trash. You are a true sport fisherman
Oh gee what a saint.
Always a blessing to watch your videos. Tight lines my friend!
Glad you like them! Thanks so much.

I dont jetty fish anymore, but anytime mono is called for it hard to beat Trilene big game. Cheap and works great.
Stay cool out there Mark and congrats on 60k subs! 😎
Thanks bro 🤙👀
I like how you explained the gear you are using and the bait Good fishing we might run across each other some day

Nice video, Mark, a little slow getting into them but when the bite turned on you caught a nice limit! Take care and be safe.
Thanks, you too! 👍
A bucket is always handy to have when fishing.
Great video and enjoyed the entire process, Mark! 🫡👍💯🎣🪨 🌊
Thanks 👍
I have caught many Blue Fish off Montauk Long Island. Fun to catch. Get big. Thanks for fishing Freeport Jetties sir.
You're videos go to fast and you don't show the kind of rigging you do and what kind of fishing gear you use. It's like you want to keep it a secret.
Fun stuff! You are a very fastidious jetty fisherman. I am a train wreck when I’m on the jetty.
Awesome fishing bro
Bravo!
Nice job buddy
Thank you 🤙
Saludos amigo buen video saludos desde aquí Houston
I wish I was there fishing!
Great video mark, how do you plan on cooking the fish since you gutten them?
I usually blacken them and place over a bed of linguine.

Is fishing on the Jetty still good in early July? I'll be visiting that area over the week of July 4th.
Early morning hours right before sunrise and nighttime are usually better.

So you’re not doing the slip cork set up anymore?
It’s been easier with this setup. The slip cork works well when I’m in the kayak or a boat.
I have had sand trout in my freezer since last summer we have been frying them up ,!
I like that fishing cart, do you have a link?
Yes, it’s linked in the description.
Cart / Wagon - amzn.to/3UvLv8d
Every time I go there it’s shoulder to shoulder casting over each other’s lines and catching squat.
How did u mount that Aerator on the back of the igloo?
I cut a slit in the plastic so it can mount to the ice chest.
@@MDLRFishinga slit in the ice chest?
Yes
does the bleed out change flavor??
I’m sure it does a little.
Were you in Maryland? I just found your channel.
Texas Gulf Coast
@@MDLRFishing ahhh roger that. I seen your name MDLR I thought that might’ve meant Maryland.
What's the reason for bleeding out the trout?
Best possible freshness.
Where that at?
Surfside Jetty
Yessir!!
Caviar is good though lol
🤙
Catching 3 keeper trout ain't sayin much, but I guess you gotta play be the rules.
May/June fishing a jetty with live bait....can't compare this to the entire rest of the year for trout.
Still very upset about the 3 trout limit. It is very wrong.
I talk just as much as you do . But by myself... No go pro no phone . Nothing
Caught a limit LOL......
Are u gonna pick up trash or fish
Okay if you eat them right after catching but they dont keep well...
