It’s really nice of the people that hired you to landscape also let you film at their house.
Coming from a person who owned an old Arrma Granite Voltage I can say that the arms do look exactly the same and I can confirm that Arrma didn’t spoil us with a NIMH battery and included 2 “Li-ion” batteries which were ok but if you wanted long runtimes you would have to go for a 2s lipo. The esc seems to be a rebranded version of their Mega SRS esc.
I couldn't agree more, the weather is finally nice enough for enjoyable RC action. I tried a couple times when it was HOT and everything overheated insanely fast (so did I, haha). As soon as it flipped I was ready for "The Clip", love it! Thanks for the great content and honest review!

This thing rocks! It’s my first Arrma purchase. I have some traxxas and a few Losi. I recently got back into the hobby after about 6 years away. I always had nitro. Back 25 years ago electric couldn’t compete. Now it’s reversed and electric is the way to go. I have the traxxas XRT which I love, but you need a LOT of space to bash. The Slash BL 2 is great, but where I live I need concrete to drive it as it’s a track car not a grass basher. After a few reviews of the Gorgon I was sold! Went and bought the yellow one. All I upgraded was the battery to a 2s Lipo, and even though I probably didn’t need it I bought and installed a cooling fan (cause I’m super cautious and OCD) 😂 I can honestly say the Gorgon is the most fun I’ve had driving an RC car in a long time. And mind you I have the XRT and Slash 😂 Some may think I’m crazy, but I absolutely LOVE this Gorgon! Cheap, durable, stable, and even with the factory brushed motor, on 2s Lipo this thing scoots! Great video as always, Mark! Keep ‘em coming brother!

I love Monster Jam and all rc cars with the looks of a monter jam i buy, like the ecx crush and axe, losi grave digger , Axial lmt10 and this one i defenly have to have it,but i am waiting for the kit version i like to build
They also sell this as a kit which is pretty cool too I think it’s like $10-20 cheaper than the ready to run

That opening shot was nice definitely sold a few with that shot. It’s so stable for a van. I bet brushless is just crazy. I wish it was 4 wheel drive but it seems to get around pretty good with 2. I like it & mind you I have a Mojave, Fireteam etc. It just looks fun.
I honestly thought it wouldnt make it up the hill since its 2wd but with those large tires and light chassis, it performs well!

Use a QC 3.0 with at least 20W to charge to in 3 hours. The white light is just slow charge mode. Idk if this caused an issue, but you’re supposed to use an actual USB power adapter with a current adjusting chip plugged into a socket.
im still scratching my head why my s2100 didnt want to charge it either.

I am a Heli and airplane guy, that said, I ordered one for my grandson, without the nimh battery, I have strong chargers, and got a couple 2S batts to go with it. Unfortunately it is on back order, hopefully it’ll come in soon. Thanks for the review

Mark on your power supply there a blue use port and thats a higher voltage. That will put the l spektrum charger into fast charging mod 8:04
i thought about doing that but i wanted to be fair for whomever purchases it. They may not have a quick charge port.

I despise my arrma big rock 3s. 😂 replaced with a maxx for constant diff rebuilds. Maxx diffs haven't been touched since the widemaxx was released I was 3months late. 😂

There was definitely something wrong with the battery or charger cause I have that charger as a backup and it takes like an 1.5 hrs for a 3000 mah battery

What's the deal with these budget monster trucks like this and Stampede having bodies mounted like 5 inches off the chassis? Wouldn't shorter body mounting parts end up being a cost-saving measure beyond a looks factor???

Bottom mount battery access is never a good. The battery tends to pop out with a good bump or jump. that part needs to be redesigned.

I own a bunch of rc’s and when I first saw this I thought it was cool but not for me…..after watching a bunch of reviews on it…I want one. The truck can handle a brushless 4s set up! Impressive.
That was my thought as well. Can do that for $400 or less for really good electronics

It takes 4 and a half hours to charge with that charger i have the same thing fot my aarma senton 4x2 and my batterys crapping out on me you can not just buy a single battery you have to buy another charger with it witch is what i saw on amain kind of sucks cause i could use a new battery.

standard brushed motor, Nimh battery, sorry but there is better out there and we have seen these kits in the past before from Traxxas....
the usb is only 5 volts to charge a 8.4 v battery charge it all day is still 5 volts

Yeah yeah but my main concern about this little moster truck it can't do flips it doesn't have enough torque to make a backflip not even with a ramp or a tree stump it can't do that which a basic monster truck thing to do...also offroad it's terrible worse than any 2wd traxxas and those are terrible offroaders. *edit* i saw others try this out the battery door thing hapepned with them as well it's a problem that's why only toy grade cars has a bottom loading battery port with the locking also on the bottom... i have a real cheap chinese mnoster truck it's the same problem you salp it down the door opens but then again that isn't 169-190 dollars not even 100 it was 34 dollars and can do a flip standing if you run up to a wall or tall tree trunk or a ramp also it has a shit li-ion battery which barely pushes 5-7 minutes and slow as all hell
