I’m 57 y.o. I bought a TRD Pro around Labor Day of 2023. I got rid of that POS in January of this year. I mentioned my age because this was the fastest I’ve ever gotten rid of a vehicle in my lifetime. Absolute junk.
@@youtubecarspottersguide1I think Toyota made a mistake on the front end of the vehicles, the sequoia is supposed to to have the tundra grille and the tundra is supposed to have the sequoia grill. Like wtf Toyota ??!
Have a 24 TrdPro and have driven a 24 Raptor I do like the Raptor but bought the TrdPro for the price difference a no brainer. So many haters on the toyota, people need to understand it was never meant to be a raptor replacement. But i have taken it to the beach and offroad in the mud and ruts never had an issue, for my needs works great. Pulled plenty of people out of the sand, tons of power, the ride is better on the raptor but I will save the xtra 15-20k (depending on the dealership you look at).
Thanks for the review. I would suggest that the 35’s on the Raptor also really help absorb road imperfections, versus the 32’s on the Tundra. While I’m sure the suspension IS nicely dialed in, larger tires on the Ford are also going to help you “float” better, so I think that should have been included in your talking points. But yeah, it’s hard to get too excited about a Tundra when it’s sitting next to that beast...
Hell no. Is the answer to that. I’ve owned both. The Toyota is a wanna be mall crawler. No comparison. Your headlines like this even on other videos as well make me question your opinion and whether or not to unfollow you.
I do not like ford nor do i like yotas but to compare the heights of both of them and both of the tires are not equally the same size that's a hard pass, and 10,000 in money is a big savings to buy the things that you want and not the things you have to take. Just my $.02 Thanks for sharing
Just looked at TRD Pro vs Raptor after owning a 1794. TRD pro looks like a work truck very Plain. Could not find anything to justify the price of the TRD Pro. Raptor was just built totally different than any F150. The ride in Raptor was way better too. Needless to say got the Raptor over the TRD Pro. Not to mention the Toyota engine issues to boot. The new Tundra just don’t hold the same reliability reputation as previous Toyota models
I’m waiting for the Tundra to get some more love to differentiate the Pro from the rest of its trim like the Tacoma TRD Pro. And when they finally can sort out all their recall issues. Then, I will likely get one, slap a 74 Weld Portals Axle, run 37s, and call it good. Price, whatever at this point I don’t care. Gotta pay to play I guess. 🤷♀️
Come on man! You drove these around a parking lot, max speed 25mph. The Tundra is a normal pick up trying to compete against the Raptor (marketing only) while the history of the Raptor if you read up on it, was a fully redesigned purpose built truck for bad ass off-road performance! Toyota can keep putting three little orange lights in the Tundra grill but that’s as close as it gets to a Raptor! I own a 2018 Raptor Supercab and it rips through dirt off roads in Baja mode like nothing else! It makes your face hurt from the fun factor grin and raw power!
Tundra has motors blowing up, transmission problems, rides terrible, no tow hooks for offroad and one of the slowest pickups out there to boot. I for one cannot think of one plus in the Tundra its a joke as a pickup.
Tundra is a joke compared to Raptor. Off road capability is not even close, and tech, luxury, amenities, features, the Raptor just walks away from the Tundra.

IDIOT.
why do you say that
so what did you get instead
What bugged you the most about the Tacoma? I’m looking at buying one. Thanks!
Waiting for the Tundra front end to be completely redesigned. Butt ugly, seriousy terrible look, the Raptor looks good. Good review Ben, thanks.
needs the sequoia grille
You’re probably going to be waiting a long time

My 25 Tundra TRD gets delivered today. Got rid of my Silverado RST. Wanted a trd since the redesign.

Pretty sure his titles are to be taken as jokes. Also, it grabs attention.
Then leave?

I wish the Ranger Raptors came with interior accents in colors other than red…
I'm still comfortable with the Tundra in terms of cost, as the price difference between the two isn't really comparable-it's nearly $50,000.
Raptor base usually is around $82k-$84k. I was going to look at a trd pro yesterday. I still have the sticker. $82.5k. So the price is the same.
@@wesharris07 Ford is crap
Ah the Tundra it comes complete with 3 spare motors
Video #4 on this subject, if I'm not mistaken.
32 inch wheels for the pro? Does it come in pink too?
Ford raptor better than the Toyota
😂😂😂😂
That is true, if your a mechanic looking for work?
literally everything is better then crapyota
Agreee
Is there a longbed option?
The Ford would be the pick if you like sitting around the dealer waiting for repairs.

Which high end truck has the most leg room of all? CHEV, FORD, DODGE, TOYOTA OR NISSAN ?
Edit: 2025 models
Ram
Ram 1500 wins 😂 and Titan is actually not bad. I owned all except for the new gen tundra.
Ram ford and Chevy are solid

Both lack quality so Ford gets the edge in the coolness factor..How about a Raptor R/Shelby F150 comparison?
Yes that would work for the $120,000 it cost!
Well it the defense if the raptor r or the regular raptor v6 twin turbo
I know you're joking. The Toyota isn't even in the same class as the Raptor. Not even close.
Another bitter dead broke piss who can not afford either.

That’s not a 2025 Toyota tundra
Raptor hands down.
What a silly title.
Ford=Fix Or Repair Daily
Lol I'm guessing you do not know how bad the tundra has been in reliability 😂

@JamesThomas-dn6ee Toyota actually has a remedy, Ford just makes you spend more money with zero remedies lol
No no they didn't even come close Ben
😂
The Toyota or Ford? 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 🇺🇸Ford 🇺🇸
Toyota has no quality in their products anymore . Toyota is done. Over priced also.
Tundra all day long. I have had Fix and Repair Daily twice in my life time, but not any more..

meanwhile you can throw a whipple on the f150 and be under warranty still. No chance
