    David, I really enjoy your videos! They are very informative and I appreciate your objective editorials. One suggestion: can you lower the volume on the background music as it sometimes interferes with your excellent narrative. Keep up the great work!

      Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment! Very much appreciated. 😊 Several people have made similar comments and in particular this video seems to be quite bad. It's funny though, on my iMac and MacBook the audio sounds ok, but play the video on a smartphone and the BGM seems really loud! 🤷‍♂️
      Hopefully I've finally figured it out. 👍

    Thanks David. The chassis looks quality. Feel they could have done a bit more with the body design. I love retro, but it looks a bit unfinished to me.

    • @KaiCityRC
      @KaiCityRC  9 месяцев назад +1

      They’ve certainly gone with a simple design with very few character lines, creases etc. It would have been nice to have a few more details in the design.

    Great overview and look at all that makes up the buggy! It does seem to be a bit more high-end than the Genova and the Dirt Master and I think you are going to have fun with it out on the track. I definitely looks nicely designed and race oriented! I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the performance of it and how it stacks up with the others!

      I had the chance to run it at the weekend and it is a real performer. 👍 I shot some footage, but between me being focused on the buggy, the circuit being busy and memory cards being full I wasn't able to get much footage.😅 But stay tuned, a video will be coming! 👍

    Great video David. I saw this one come out and was intrigued although not a whole lot on RUclips about it. Nice to see your videos and you are really making me want one for my track. Appreciate your time.

      I'm working on a review video at the moment, but after 3 hours of track time I've got to say I am very, very impressed with the S1 RM. It ticks all the boxes for me. Superb build quality, fantastic handling and it looks great too. It received plenty of positive comments from other drivers too. 👍
      To be honest I'm a little surprised it is not getting more attention!

      @KaiCityRC  9 месяцев назад +1

      Absolutely! Hopefully more manufacturers will follow suit as there is definitely interest in this class of modern meets vintage.
      I was able to get a brief shakedown run done yesterday and I was very, very impressed. 👍 It needs so more tuning to get it set up right for the circuit I run on. I’m back at the track today for some more track time. 👍😊

      Thanks! I spent some time at the circuit today running the S1 RM, Dirt Master and Genova back to back. I recorded some laps, but as the track was busy and I was focused more on fine tuning the handling, I don't think it's very good footage. I plan to return next weekend, hopefully get some proper timed laps and better running footage. Stay tuned! 👍

    You should build a pr sb401r i have never build sutch a precise and smooth differential not even close on the xray xb4 21 i have 😅

    • @KaiCityRC
      @KaiCityRC  9 месяцев назад

      Don't tempt me! 😁 I've been eyeing the SB401-R ever since I got the S1 RM. But I've already got a YZ-4 and while 4WD performs well on the track, it requires more maintenance and is more expensive to repair when you inevitably have a disagreement with the barriers. 😅 😩
      Plus, I've still got to get around to building my JJ Ultima, not to mention there is a Super Dog Fighter and Optima Mid '87 Worlds spec on the way! 😅

      @@KaiCityRC i feel you brother i also ordered a xb4 23 it was in an special offer befor they change tp 13.2mm shocks next month:) but probably wont come...
      Ill try the pr s1 it seems nice how is the endurance of that thing is it any better than yokomo or kyosho with the metal chassi/shocks?

      77T spur and around 24T pinion to suit the track/regulations.

      It retails for ¥36,000 here in Japan. So that's about $250 or £200 or so.

    Nice buggy, we've now got quite a few competitors on this type of buggy. I wonder why they don't sell the genova in EU.
    Is your shock stand 3d printed ? Looks good !

    • @KaiCityRC
      @KaiCityRC  9 месяцев назад

      I think G Force are really missing out by not making the Genova available in other markets.

      I believe there is a shop in Ireland that is stocking PR products. It was mentioned in a channel I just watched called Tim’s RC Repair. He also did a first build of PR vehicle. The newest Stadium truck.
      I am in Canada and I must say these PR Racing vehicles really have my interest! Now to get one too BC Canada….. hahaha
