  • Here we take a look at the PR S1RM supplied by evolution models, Another rear motor chassis, this seems to be a growing trend and PR have used a mid motor chassis. And tweeked it to be a rear motor. With a lot of adjustability and some great hop ups could this be the best in class ?

    I just built my 40th RC10 and ran it and loved it but I’m afraid to scratch the gold pan. In the US these PR S1 RM cars are only $20 more than the Kyosho Dirt Master and their warehouse is just north of my house a couple hours. I’d love to get one of these and do a 10.5 or 13.5 sensored setup and just use as my normal weekend runner. I’m kinda deciding between this and a BBX (I prefer gear diffs though 🤣). Either car is easily switchable though between gear and ball.

    The kit is based on the prs1v2, you could flip the gearbox like you say to make it mid motor, you did have to use different gearbox casing though

      Yeah, i was near the end of building it and realised its just a mid motor flipped 😁 but its turned out great and hopefully get it out on track soon 🤞

    It does look like a quality kit and I am sure it will be a fun one to drive! Definitely looked like a nice one to build. Sorry you were not able to get out and run it but I am a little jealous of getting the 5 inches of snow! We are just getting cold rain here so at least the snow is pretty! take care Richard and I am looing forward to seeing it run!

      It was lovely yesterday, but not for everyone getting stuck. Had the log burner going, xmas films on and chilled. Need to walk to the shops now, still not ideal for driving in 😎

    Lovely video Richard , enjoyed that! Looks a nice well built bit of kit. Look forward to seeing some run footage of it when you can. It’s off my radar at the moment but would like to try it to compare it against the Genova and Dirt Master. Definitely jealous of the snow . We got nuffin ;) take care mate

    I like it alot. The oldschool cab back rear motor buggys are reallly growing on me. I run my DirtMaster as often as i can,its probably the best performing rc in my collection. Btw,i am thinking of getting in to rc racing,is there a good starter buggy that you can recommend? Thank you for sharing and have a great upcoming week sir!🙂

      Hi, the dirtmaster is my fave at the mo. Was really great out on the track. Cab back buggys are so much better looking. Modern buggys are just 🤮 what racing are you thinking? Vintage or modern ?

    Looks good but what class can it race in??

    • @lo2713
      @lo2713  9 месяцев назад

      Could be good on grass/dirt tracks in modern classes. But a lot of clubs run rear motor meets. Up to 99 and then upwards. So your anything rear motor after that year can run.
