Yes, it was quite the thing to see. He'd just been racing 2WD Genova's non stop for almost thirty minutes and then, without hesitation, started driving the much faster MX-4 around the track.
What a really cool video and it was great to see them unveil it and talk about it. Thanks for taking the time to translate it for us! I would love to have one but I can adda lot of other kits to the collection for the price this one is going for. I don't think it is overpriced but just too much for me to justify spending on a single kit. Thanks for the video David!
How awesome to see both those legends of RC and the be at the launch. It is a beautiful looking car and a real collectors item. Be great to have one I just can’t justify spending that much.
It was nice to see them both together to reveal the MX-4 Forever. The MX-4 is expensive to be sure, but so worth it when you know who designed and built it and what it represents. 🙂
@@KaiCityRC I was looking at the website and there is a price of $2300 usd for overseas customers which is $600 more than the yen price for Japanese customers. That’s a big difference
Hey David, thanks for sharing. Interesting clip. I have a task for you - you live in Japan. I'm trying to source a Tamiya TG10 mk2 (44055). This is a nitro 1/10 touring with a carbon topdeck, threaded shock adjusters and all. Could you see if it's available in Japan anywhere? Cheers old chap.
I don't think many people will run them, or if they do, only very lightly. More of a collectors item than anything else. But should you decide to run it, parts and support are available directly from Masaaki Hirosaka's shop.
I think you can comfortably say that one is going up in value as we speak. What a machine. What a legacy. Hero car right here.
What a great "human" video to watch, thank you. You can see this is an emotional moment for father and son. And it's a beautiful buggy to boot.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! It’s great to see it being driven by Masami. 😎🙌

That chassis is a masterpiece. And all that shiny anodized gold. Absolutely.
The photos do not do it justice! Truly a work of RC art. 😎
A dream car come true. Maybe the most beautiful 1/10 buggy ever made !
Wow, looks beautiful what a buggy 😊 Wowee super nice man.. thanks for showing this David.. Pete 😊❤
No problem 👍

Thank you for sharing David 🙏
Thanks for watching. 😁
It was an exciting day, wasn't it? ( TALL AMERICAN HERE! ) Your video looks good.
Absolutely! was good to meet you! 😊 Nice work on the interview with Masami San! 👍
Great video! 🏁

Did you order one ??
This thing is awesome and I want one but $2300. That’s just ridiculous
Very nice. But I am on the fence about "Elite" buggies like this. While it is good that it exists.. parts support is gonna be virtually nonexistent.

@@KaiCityRC Yeah. Gonna be a expensive shelf queen.
Certainly!
better strap a 4s in there and launch it off some sweet jumps.
