Sir, I like to watch your videos . I appreciate your practical tips too. In sabudana khichdi of maharastrian style kadhipatta is never added as it is not allowed during vrat / upwas. Moreover one practical tip is after soaking sabudana in water, the water should be fully drained out after about 30 to 45 min and then left for 6 hours. that will give no sticky yet proper soft texture to the Khichdi.
Chef plss repeat this dish explaining about the different types of Sabudana available in the market and usko kitna deri kitne cup pani me soak krna h n all. Or kya tomatoes and aloo k alawa Capsicum भी add kr skte h???

Both the recipies are wonderful chef.But for how long should we soak sabudana? You soaked it overnight and some of them say don't soak it for too long.Please clear my confusion.🙏
Sabudana khichdime kabhibhi kadipatta nahi dalta, kadipatta vratme varjit hai. We garnish it with fresh coconut. We also add lemon juice, to sugar balance ho jati hai!! 👌🙂
Maharashtrian style is simple n best. But mostly Maharashtrians don't add ginger and curry leaves, and use ghee instead of oil. Tomato bahot weird combination hai khichdi me aur vaise bhi vrat me tomato nhi chalta

Never mind whether you are using for fast or just a snack , oil is not used for tadka, pure ghee is the only way to go for Maharastrian tadka.
