- Hello everyone! This week I sang Enemy from Arcane (by Imagine Dragons)!
Arcane, right???? I’m not much of a League person (played once and got yelled at by the people I was playing with but to be fair I’m the WORST person to play with on a team, I just mess around and do my own thing because I get bored lol) but BOY do I love Arcane. The animation is so cool, the story is rad and Vander is a hunk. I’ve yet to watch the last arc as of writing this but I’m very excited to! Can’t wait to have my heart broken!
It’s been a very long time since I’ve speedrun an upload like this (aka finishing everything in 2 days) but it was a nice change of pace. I’m hitting my peak “year-end-burn-out” so please forgive any spottiness that comes with my uploading schedule these next few weeks. If I was smart, I’d take a break but I have some awesome stuff I really want to push out before the end of the year. Somethings you can expect in the coming weeks:

Arcane is legit one of the best looking animated shows I’ve ever seen. The direction, the cinematography, the animation, it legitimately looks better than most 3D animated movies.

@@Jen_TheSnail I watched countless cartoons/animated shows, and believe me when I tell you that this one is easily in my top 3 with only 9 episodes released. Its that good. The best looking animation I ever seen, the music, the plot, the characters, the places everything in arcane is art in itself.

The bridge (the rap part) isn't from Anna, it's actually from Imagine Dragons, they wrote that for the version without JID. You can look up the song without JID in it.

I actually love how understated this is compared to the original. It's nice to hear versions of a song that don't try to copy the original, but spin it a different way. Where the original is loud and bombastic, this is soft, composed, and malevolent. Brilliant, as always, Anna. Bravo!

Arcane beating Squid Game as Netflix's most watched TV series. I've been a league player for years and I remember when they first announced an animated series. People thought it wasn't gonna happen, but when Netflix picked it up, I was so stoked. Can't wait to see which champions they decide to follow in the inevitable season 2. Jinx, Vi, Cait, Singed and Jayce are all brilliant but there's 150~ amazing characters (with a few glaring exceptions *cough cough Seraphine bite me cough cough*) I'm happy that more people who aren't in the gaming community get to experience Runeterra as well. Such an amazing place to explore. Personally, I hope we get to explore it with the prodigal explorer himself, but I'm a hopeless simp 💖💖
I really wanna see leblanc/the black rose in general tbh, they're really cool and we still don't know much about them, it'd be really cool imo.
I thought of getting into league several times because it seemed fun but I was also warned multiple times of how toxic it might get. Any advice fam?
@@andreabenton7798 Turn off the chat setting. I was in a very similar position and was pushed off playing League for years because of it. Then I discovered that team chat has a little check box in the settings you can switch off and now you don't have to worry about teammates hurling abuse at you. If pings disturb your mental health as well, you can easily mute them from individual people too in-game, but I'd save it as a last resort as they are the games best method of communication.
If you're really really new, I recommend using RUclips and Guides for help on how to play, as the League has one of the worst tutorials in the history of gaming for a game as big as itself. There are important roles, skills and techniques that the game completely avoids saying anything about and is likely a large reason why League players are toxic towards new people.
@@andreabenton7798 I mean, there's an option to just completely disable chat to where you won't even see what other people are saying while still being able to see their pings.
It would be nice to see more. Maybe not just focused on piltover and zaun. There are many story settings that can be told from the frozen north to the burning deserts of the south.
But for Arcane continuity, they already have a noxian hook so it would be interesting to see how it would mesh.
And with the show series not being canon we might see garen and kat together like the fan base says.
arcane is literally so good they could probably delete the main game at this point and they'll still be set lol (a lot of league fans may hate the game but we all admit their music, animatics and now show ARE AMAZING)
Maybe focusing on on animated shows, cinematics, and songs to continue their plot would be good. Who knows.

Most people who think the game is bad is people who are no longer playing the game to enjoy it, which is a damn shame, it can be a lot of fun if you try and keep it fun
Honestly, I do like the game and love playing it, it's just the Fandom and other players who make the experience so toxic and bad
I feel like this song applies to all the major Characters, particularly the "tell you you're the greatest, but once you turn they hate us" line.
Like, for Vi and Jynx it's quite obvious, but it also applies to Catelyn, as her parents support her as long as she does what they want her to, Jayce has to abide to the council, Mel has to manipulate behind everyone's back because she knows otherwise she'll face backlash, Viktor is altruistic yet selfish in his desire to better the world that is caused by his need to live more, Silco has what in theory are good plans but he turns his back to the underground when to get Zaun he's willing to sacrifice the people in it, Hiemerdinger is treated as an old wise man but when he uses his wisdom to warn them, they cut him off, Ekko had to change after losing his faith in Powder, Vander was acclaimed until he wanted to protect his kids,Like, I feel as though it does apply to literally everyone
That's a good analysis. But in my opinion, the song comes across more like a track addressing the haters of Imagine Dragons with Dan Reynolds comparing himself and the hate he gets to these characters lives and relationships

If you are talking about lyrics, imagine dragons done a solo of enemy without jid. The solo lyric matches with jinx

Arcane raises the bar for video-game animation/cinematic adaptation through the sky. My expectations coming in was high, yet every scene blows them out of the ground.
Just started watching Arcane, currently on the third episode and I’m loving the show, this couldn’t have come out at a better time.
