I actually love how understated this is compared to the original. It's nice to hear versions of a song that don't try to copy the original, but spin it a different way. Where the original is loud and bombastic, this is soft, composed, and malevolent. Brilliant, as always, Anna. Bravo!

Arcane beating Squid Game as Netflix's most watched TV series. I've been a league player for years and I remember when they first announced an animated series. People thought it wasn't gonna happen, but when Netflix picked it up, I was so stoked. Can't wait to see which champions they decide to follow in the inevitable season 2. Jinx, Vi, Cait, Singed and Jayce are all brilliant but there's 150~ amazing characters (with a few glaring exceptions *cough cough Seraphine bite me cough cough*) I'm happy that more people who aren't in the gaming community get to experience Runeterra as well. Such an amazing place to explore. Personally, I hope we get to explore it with the prodigal explorer himself, but I'm a hopeless simp 💖💖
@@andreabenton7798 Turn off the chat setting. I was in a very similar position and was pushed off playing League for years because of it. Then I discovered that team chat has a little check box in the settings you can switch off and now you don't have to worry about teammates hurling abuse at you. If pings disturb your mental health as well, you can easily mute them from individual people too in-game, but I'd save it as a last resort as they are the games best method of communication. If you're really really new, I recommend using RUclips and Guides for help on how to play, as the League has one of the worst tutorials in the history of gaming for a game as big as itself. There are important roles, skills and techniques that the game completely avoids saying anything about and is likely a large reason why League players are toxic towards new people.

It would be nice to see more. Maybe not just focused on piltover and zaun. There are many story settings that can be told from the frozen north to the burning deserts of the south. But for Arcane continuity, they already have a noxian hook so it would be interesting to see how it would mesh. And with the show series not being canon we might see garen and kat together like the fan base says.

I feel like this song applies to all the major Characters, particularly the "tell you you're the greatest, but once you turn they hate us" line. Like, for Vi and Jynx it's quite obvious, but it also applies to Catelyn, as her parents support her as long as she does what they want her to, Jayce has to abide to the council, Mel has to manipulate behind everyone's back because she knows otherwise she'll face backlash, Viktor is altruistic yet selfish in his desire to better the world that is caused by his need to live more, Silco has what in theory are good plans but he turns his back to the underground when to get Zaun he's willing to sacrifice the people in it, Hiemerdinger is treated as an old wise man but when he uses his wisdom to warn them, they cut him off, Ekko had to change after losing his faith in Powder, Vander was acclaimed until he wanted to protect his kids,Like, I feel as though it does apply to literally everyone
That's a good analysis. But in my opinion, the song comes across more like a track addressing the haters of Imagine Dragons with Dan Reynolds comparing himself and the hate he gets to these characters lives and relationships

It doesn't quite have the same punch on most of the central lines but all the more varied ones are delivered really smoothly with this fantastic low voice.

It's pretty cool and your voice is so clear and solid, but I must say I missed a little bit of imperfection and emotion. The rap part was awesome, ngl. I was planning on doing a cover of this song too, and I loved this version. Of course I like and suscribe.
As two other have already said, that isn't an original verse, its just the version of the song that Imagine Dragons wrote when JID isn't with them to perform.

Honestly Arcane is one of my favorite Netflix shows. I haven't gotten that far into the show but I still absolutely love it. I didn't expect you to do a cover but I'm glad you did bc your cover are just gorgeous!
The lyrics "I will never be a saint" means both sides committed tragedies for their cause. And neither were perfect good guys or perfect victims. Saints are people who rejected all sin AKA evil acts like blowing up inforcers or keeping kids in poverty

It doesn't quite have the same punch on most of the central lines but all the more varied ones are delivered really smoothly with this fantastic low voice.
