Gosh, the moment where Powder does Jinx’s finger gun toward the enforcers and there’s a split frame of her older self is such a nice touch. They thought everything through for Arcane, and that’s why I am thoroughly obsessed.

Barely found out about JIDs verse on this 4 days ago. This man never fails to surprise me with his word play and flow.
That moment when powder fires her finger gun and it does a quick flash to jinx is so sick. The amount of detail they go into even just for a music video shows the prowess and talent of these writers and animators. This effort and passion with focus on even the smallest of details is the exact reason why this show is a masterpiece.

@@albi24 @Ata Bima24 and she obviously left her alone after the incident that killed Mylo, Clagger and Vander. She had really good reasons to be mad, but she pushed it way too far. She remains a kid who thought about doing well. She only saw the immediate danger of Deckard trying to destroy the door. It's her time that gave her space fort remorse and understanding, and most likely also the anger of knowing that she was "hold hostage" by Silco.
Thats how real human beings are normally. They arent black or white but different tonalities of grey. Arcane did a good job blending that concept with the fiction of the serie.
JID's rapping is AWESOME. I love how at the end of verse 3 the instruments stop and suddenly there is no beat; it accurately represents the song's meaning

A solid top 3 for sure, but for me it's Viktor's storyarc that got me the most intrigued in Arcane.

Just finished the series and it is absolutely terrific. Good blend of comedy and tragedy, the characters are very well written and the dynamics between them don't feel forced or out of place.
I also love how they portray each character's viewpoints by using visual queues that match and explain their mentality without using words, from Jinx's manic panic attacks to Jayce's journey from a simple inventor to the man he becomes at end.

I got to know this piece at the point in my life when I was young and foolish, but the circumstances had me rapidly losing my youthful naivety. It spoke to me so much. Thus for me, this piece is about growing up and sacrifice. The kind of bittersweet reality of life: you get, you lose, with time you're stripped off your innocence, your dignity, your sense of invincibility. It feels like watching something die in you, and you're mourning, and you don't want to let go.
But it also makes you feel you're experiencing life for the first time. And there is no coming back anyway, so you have to learn to walk again with this awareness weighing on you.
Imagine dragon is a band that I can completely forget about for like a month, but once I find them again I’m listening to the same song on repeat for at least one hundred hours…

I listen to this song very often and just tonight did I realized what the true meaning behind it. Apparently this is Powder reminiscing the memories she had with Vi. Explains why Vander is nowhere to be found in the bar. This is Powder's final moments before she embraces "Jinx". She felt alone and had to fend for herself "Everybody wants to be my enemy", she did what she had to do to survive. All this time I thought it was nothing more than music video.

Can we appreciate the art and the super deep meaning in this song. Like jinx’s story is actually realistic if you think about it. A child raised in a crime infested society, with no real parental figure at all. And you can see her slow decay into madness as the song progresses. And how that trauma still affects her. I really think this song is a real work of art while also conveying a deep story.

@Krzysztof Milański it took them so long because the models, style and everything was from scratch. They developed a custom engine and style for the show. It’ll probably take around 2 and a half years to make a season now.

I think it’s criminal that scenes like this weren’t in the actual show. Would’ve made scenes like Ekko vs Jinx much more emotional.
it will make the movie off topic. Love of ekko for jinx is not main story. However, the film still conveys the beautiful and lost childhood of both. after watching arcane and watching this video again. that is enough

i think they will explore more of this on the next season, they will probably show up that time gap when ekko built that little city inside zaun, in arcane's first season they show us that a lot of things happened between ekko and jinx when Vi talks to ekko after she left jail
@@alex2005z they did little shift shaft here and there with the timeline and how it will fit in the biggest picture, but the characters have all improved lores entangled between each others
i like that its not in the show because like several people said it would have been off topic. the show was paced perfectly. but also i think they realized how important some of this stuff is, and it's actually super fucking cool that these scenes are available in the music video. my theory is they used this video to set up some of the emotional connections in the show through showing these scenes before the show even released. i mean it's pretty much guaranteed that most league fans who intended to watch the show watched this at some point.

When you decide to watch Arcane, series based on a game, you expect easter eggs,homage and referrence to the game, but instead you get a story with deep layered characters, world building/expanding, political ideals and conflict in moral values. God, and the lyrics he put in, it seemed like that was less Jinx talking and more Powder trying to get out. I like the duality of the ending of his verse seeming like it got cut out and didn’t exactly fit perfectly with his last word and the choruses’ first word even though he set it up like that. Like how Jinx is constantly shown to switch and the difference between Powder and Jinx being so jarring and sudden
