SM Captain looks decent in a few detachments now, and the Callidus has big brain moves like deep striking out of LOS in an area you wish to attack, forcing the opponent to double up on CP expenditure
If you think any Righteous Crusaders ever run anything other than the 6+++, you don't know BT. They need to make the enhancements work with fervent acclamation.
Appreciate the analysis guys! Very content with how the changes impact space wolves, even if I had to redo every list I have because of the TWC point change 😅 I have to actually test and decide if I prefer Stormlance or Champions of Russ now.
I'm incredibly excited to put more daemons on the table! I only have one greater daemon finished though, gotta work on that I guess. Great vid as always guys :)
Alright, I'll play your little game. Great video, liked and subscribed, and very eager to get my Daemons into this new groove. Maybe even scoop up that lingering Start Collecting Tzeentch Daemons box still on my local comic store's shelf -- see how Fateskimmer runs!
Captain's Rites of Battle changes aside, all I have going for me is that the LR Crusader went down 10 points. Still can't fit 6 Centurions in it, though. 3 more months of divergent chapters being the actual space marine faction and hopefully we get some more impactful changes that aren't nerfs.
2 Repulsors full of eradicators with Tor Garadon in one and a g-captain in the other. Drive them up and park it. I watched my opponent this week just 🤯 about killing the repulsors. It was magnificent.
I would like to see the Daemons get abilities to mimic Battleshock - but it uses the straight up leadership characteristic like in old editions. Hardly anything in the game right now uses Leadership tests outside of Battleshock, so i think it would be a neat gimmick for them. Example: [Fear] In The charge phase, when an enemy unit declares a charge against a unit with this ability, roll a leadership test. If failed, The enemy unit cannot charge that unit but may redirect to another eligible unit (for a Greater Daemon): [Terror] - At the start of your opponents movement phase, enemy units within engagement range of this unit must take a Leadership test. If Failed, the enemy unit must make a fallback move or take 2D3 mortal wounds.
WOH! i wish you wrote the daemons codex this is some really powerful stuff. I like the Idea and I wonder when the codex drops, is there going to be a "fear" based detachment?
Just getting into space wolves so the changes are a good thing for me. However I have just bought a boat load of thunderwolves that might not be as viable now
Hi Ian! Fellow Ian and a fellow demon main, I'm also pretty stoked to get a chance to play games with the new update. Also do not play daemonettes in 10th. Got some use out of them in 9th, but I expect to rely on Plaguebearers and Bloodletters as well for my battleline units. Before the update, I was playing mostly "highlander" armies with something from all four deities. Now, I'm betting we will see more mono-god or dual-god armies as the preference to leverage the impact that the greater demons have on their own followers. The more units in the list that can make use of each specific Greater Demon's aura, the better for the army's efficiency. Do you think you will focus more on specific god lists or play more diverse lists? If you are planning to focus on specific gods, which do you expect will be your core choices?
I will be playing probably 3, Nurgle Khorne and Tzeentch. I have a TON of Slaanesh stuff but it isnt really doing if for me in comparison. I think Nurgle and Khorne are the must haves and If i HAD to choose 1 it would be Nurgle. the fact that they remain on the tabletop for a bit longer on average than other Daemon units due to there toughness is what gets the Victory points. and now with the Great Unclean One giving a 6" aura of shadow for the Plaugebearers, and Beasts. I can see some really nasty blobs of flesh Hammering peoples frontlines and gumming them up while my plague drones make off with the objectives and Nurglings screen opponents out. Soul Grinders are also great I feel an auto include (probably make it Tzeentch for the big anti tank shot even in a nurgle list) and daemon princes will shore up some of the low damage threat of playing Nurgle. Not sure there are any wrong answers though its so new with pariah nexus I could be eating my words with those daemonettes. Also Be'lakor is used tactfully with cripple your opponent.
Idk my iron storm literally stayes the same. Reapers went up by 20 for the 2 and the strays went down 20 so for me the list did not change at all What is changing is my firestorm that i will have to rework. The redeemer increase hit me for 50 so not to see what to trim. But honeatly just using some vanguard tactics tips and really digging into what needs to be there and what fat i can trim
Codex Space Marines got slapped in the face with nothing good going on for them, that is a shame. There's a lot of underpowered things they could've changed without crazy points drops. It was the time to do so. My Lion helping the army against dev. wounds and hazardous is amazing, and walking though walls is huuuuuge! Loved the buffs he got without changeing anything on his datasaheet.
As a single redeemer player, I’m feeling that 25 point bump! My infiltrator squad has to become a normal intercessor squad to make the same ish list fit, but at least battle line should be more helpful in pariah
How a great unclean one DS make enemy units take battleshock test ? Burning chariot don't have a rule to force enenmy unit to take battle shock test ? same for bloddcrushers... Can someone explain to me what am I missing please :-)
i think they were talking about the character that joins the bloodcrushers, the skullmaster? It forcing battleshock when he charges. The sloppitty bilepiper forceing battleshock as well. The changecaster was mentioned as well as a battleshock creator.
I am wrong. I am just so darn exited to get up in my opponent grill I didn't quite realize its actually a 5. I apologize, the new influx of information has clearly left a warphole in my brain.
Before I watch, I just need to apologize to the only Canadians I know for cheering so hard for the Panthers last night. What a series. What a game. Go Cats!

Captain got ruined for firestorm 😔, at least we get a free overwatch

Or just drop those requirements all together from enhancements and strats.
Definitely a morning show folks!!! I watch it while I’m getting set up in my office every morning lol
Keep up the great work!
Awesome! Thank you!
Steve sounding very enthusiastic about the wolves changes!

Ya man Da got alot of Buffs hoping we see more of them
yeah Deathwing Knights are amazing now!
Now we need Drop Pods to hold 12

Good morning!
YETI mug full of coffee and Hyperspace Hobbies. Gonna be a good Tuesday morning.
Ah yeah 2 things that get the bowels moving haha.

Anvil Siege Force the way to go now?
Also, repulsor on a round base. Pivot shenanigans.
Dont even get me started😂, what is "round" is and Oval base technically "round"? I would vote yes. Pivot Shenanigans is afoot!!

why do you say 4" charges? its a 6" charge with a +1?

Panthers OP, Need a points adjustment!
Pour one out for salamander firestorm players.
Ya they got hit pretty hard. But Salamanders are used to it, they will find a way back to the top!
FNP can prevent devastating, could it stop MW too?
Basic FNP always could stop mortals
@@zhershey65 wasn't sure, Vanguard Tactics did an rules update stream... I was unclear, got them back to front, but FNP can stop all wounds now?
@@rickdriver0 unless the FNP states it’s against mortals or psychic it can attempt to shrug any damage

NEW RELEASE!!!!! = misprints, misprints, misprints.
RIP firestorm
Vulcan Lives!
True Firestorm took the big hit in the codex, but its still super strong.
I really can't understand idiots from GW nerfing SM codex.
