This is my translation from Japanese to English in purpose of educating the Western audience of a look into behind the scenes development of Like A Dragon 8!

Tons of next generation games have loads more detail, hell even games from 2014. The skin has good scattering but still lacks a lot of detail you see in other games. They were making a big deal over the hair but then you have something like RE4's hair solution.
@@pilotsayshello1758I get what you mean, but when you're actually playing the game it looks very impressive. But yeah when you look at it here, it's kinda old news because a lot of games can do realisist textures like this really well.
I really hope they expand on the property management minigame that minigame was amazing.

i really wish the software they used to demonstrate ichiban majima and kiryu wasnt blurred out i already found out their photogrammetry workflow for faces and it would've been amazing if we knew what they used

Well Yakuza isn't a heavy graphic game. You can look at yakuza 7. The graphics is beautifull and it doesn't need a very high GPU to play it. I think yakuza 8 will need a minimum of 1050 or 1060 to play it.

I think the hostess minigames are gonna be in both Gaiden and LAD 8 ( thats the cabaret one right?)
@@dragonenterpriseThere's 2. There's where you walk into a Cabaret Club and you talk to a Hostess and you have a drink and then there's you actually managing the Cabaret Club. Which is what you do in 0 and Kiwami 2.

Janky, broken, and made some very divisive changes.
The only solace I have is that it was an experiment with the unreal engine to gain experience and figure out what their audience wants.
That does make me wonder what the Japanese reception to the game was.
@@jesfest It was received poorly in JP based on a post on launch week but I have no source on current sentiment because the original was already available in JP, the remake was downgraded on several game mechanics and is UE4 while nothing much changed aside from recasts
It was understandable if you look at it from a person who've played Y!Ishin though
@@jesfest i think they're just lazy or just easily want to milk the franchise.. I read the news that they had to make it with UE was because dragon engine wasnt optimized for daylight/daytime ...
