During my divorce I would put all my Dylan cd's in the changer and go to sleep listening to him and wake up with it still playing. Got me through a rough time.
Very talented man Thanks for all you've shared over the years for us all to enjoy You're a true pleasure and a very talented kind hearted man. Thanks ❤️ so much....
I am an unconditional fan and I know it’s not very original to say that. I am one of millions probably. But I need to say it. He is the greatest music artist of all time ( for me of course, not very rational) But anyway I listen to him since I was maybe 5 years old and I am 61 now. My older sister teen at the time was listening to the Beatles , The Rolling Stones and Neil young. Do I took it straight in the face the hears and the got thru my heart as well. I listen to the Pink Floyd also and cat Stevens but with dylan. Above the emotions I was and I am still surprise with his music always looking and searching for new type and kind of music. And when he does rythm and blues , almost gospel and church voices in the back ground sometimes , or when he does pure rock& roll or pure country. It is always beautiful and and light , fresh. I guess it is somebody that never gets satisfied with his art always searching probably never totally satisfied with life I am French and I saw him October 24 I think , this year In Paris He is 83 years old but like the greatest ones , always good. I also have the same sensations with Neal young For me , they are above any other rock or cb pop musicians For their always curiosity and creativity and length… so god bless you mister dylan. You ‘ ve been always on my mind
Well said. I saw him in Prague (in October, I think), and he seemed ten years younger than when I saw him a few years ago: more verve, more enthusiasm, more of a sense of fun. It defies logic... but then again, so much about the man does.
Tu is do trie whist you are saying my friend Nothing is logical about this man Always where we don’t expect him. Maybe it has not been always easy for his close once and family. But for us … what a delight !! Already when he started and decided to leave his family and the family store , business I think. It ‘s not like if he was from a difficult social background Or anything. But I guess in a little Minnesota town at this time , nothing was very hot or exciting probably for an artist like him in process of course at the time. In the middle of the states , in a middle class family , probably traditional ( Jewish Russians I think originally) I guess that is why he had to invent his life and lied about his childhood And dreamed about another life , very young , I guess that is probably part of his immense creativity and imagination that we find on his innumerable songs and stories The length of his career is unbelievable He has had the luck of not dying young also Very few musicians have a career like that A name a few just to pay tribute to them also Stevie wonder , Paul Mac Cartney , Keith Richard mick jagger , Eric Clapton , Neil young, and more of course Total respect and admiration
HELLO BOB I AM IN TROUBLES BUT LISTENING TO YOU COMFORTS ME I HOPE THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE OK AND YOU JUST KEEP ON ROLLING I WISH YOU MANY MORE CREATIVE YEARS
I caught Dylan in Dayton, Ohio for the Time out of Mind tour at Hara Arena. Strange. First note of the first song and many in the crowd jumped up and started dancing in the ailes. It was kind of an acid inspired dance and vibe. Imagine Dylan playing at woodstock. I remember my brother turning to me and asking "what the hell is going on?" The wild crowd fired up Dylan and the band and they put on an inspired performance. That was one hard rocking show. Some nights are special.
Ótimo, assim que vi o sujeito naquela encenação, fiquei cá com meus botões pensando se estava na programação ou se ele foi um intruso! A forma que ele desapareceu do palco, desconfiei que seria mesmo um intruso! (segurança falha?)
The restaurant part of Highlands is hysterical. There's a part of me that really, really, really hopes it actually happened. And Bob's guitar solo on 'Love Sick' KILLS, 'soy bomb' and all. Thanks a million for this.
Can't wait is Portsmouth 24 Sep 2000. Don't get me wrong in my opinion this is by far the best time out of mind live compilation. By a country mile in fact so hats off to you for the choices here. Superb. The earlier versions are the best. And it's on video too! I will for go the venue info for the greatest live versions of these masterpieces out there.

I take it Highlands wasn't the opener that night ha ha - thanks for the story
@@KULP11 why is Dirt Road restricted by copyright but DOORWAY isnt ?
@@AMEER-114- I wish I knew too
❤wonderful artist ❤
I like the way they pulled discreetly pulled that guy off stage and how Dylan never missed a beat.
Soy Bomb took the whole thing up another level. Impossible!

Great performance of his part with this song really.
Was written on his chest(I'm a bomb) in Spanish?!
He exploded by his way 😂
So appropriate in every way.
Best part is how Bob looks at him like “Aight, knock yourself out I guess”😭😭
He was probably used to that.
Are these from his New Bootleg Vol 17
Great version of Til i fell in love with you. What show was that from?
not sure about that one. Anybody ?
Who is the guitar player to Bob's right? I think i have a thing for him , lol.
Kathy Lewis his name is Larry Campbell. Left this band to then play and produce with Levon Helm. He is a beast.
@@mikemangione i wish i could get better video. I'd love to see it better.
@@musicloverkathy check out Larry Campbell on this ruclips.net/video/kH_wWff_7Rk/видео.html

Please don't bite me for asking this question. Is Bob considered a great guitar player? I'm not much of a guitar expert.
He is certainly the best at playing Bob Dylan songs and he writes great songs.
@AnotherWacko He was good ... but not anymore ...
Not really. Songwriting is his stellar forte.
First song is not really something you can dance to.
