Great comedy from the 60s and 70s,..it was ..a really golden time in British comedy , when so many classic sitcoms were on our tellys...from the likes of Steptoe & son,....Rising Damp,...Porridge,....Fawlty Towers,....Dad's army.....and many others,....wonderful times
Loved on the buses . Always said I would drive buses it came true. 1982 I became one my garage was LANGSIDE over southside of Glasgow.IT was Brilliant what a great memories. Then they Closed it .I then went to Scottish Bus Group stayed there until 2001
Bob Grant was type cast and he couldn't get work when it ended. He became more and more depressed and also a recluse. No one knows what troubles are deep inside someone all hidden away and tormenting the sufferer until death releases them. But only God knows the answer. But how the heck did he always get the birds. The crumpet is what I would like to know. He was nothing to look at. Scrawny comes to mind. RIP Bob Grant. You're free now.
Once Stan and Arthur left, the last bus 🚍 departed the depot 😕, Rip you amazing people and cheers 🥂 for entertaining us for many years, and thanks to chalky a black man with a sense of humour 😀 not many around these days, just produce the rasist card ☹️
It’s part of a Christmas Night show that featured various singers, comedians and other entertainers and featured specially-written episodes for inclusion within the show of contemporary sitcoms of the era - the BBC had Christmas Night With The Stars and ITV had Christmas Comedy Carnival or something like that, both of which were fronted by an anchor that was a comedian or entertainer and also featured popular entertainers of the era and also featured specially-commissioned episodes of the sitcoms of the era, broadcast in isolation from the series itself!
Not the same with reg well he shouldn't have spent the rehearsal night eating frozen pizza and drinking vodka with laxatives in and binge watching crossroads
Reg Varney had agreed to depart the show during the 1973 final series, and so he decided not to bother to be in the 1972 Christmas clip here, by this time Reg had enough of On the Buses.
Prices on the buses Mutiny on the buses in holiday on the buses mutiny and holiday vegetarian pub Grant red vines red varnish red Vonnie and Bob Grant listen to what I'm saying Reg Varney and Bob Grant and Stephen Blake Nike the bus inspector of holiday on the buses Mutiny on the buses 1971 to 1972 1973 lost property
Utter crap episode with beyond silly sketches after Reg left, the actors were time expired, as were the script writers, they did this silly episode to boost it’s success for other stupid episodes to keep it on air.
