I believe Alex was involved in a drug dealing business,he was an addict and a dealer. Paul " the little detective " as he named him, and Maggie his wife , were aware of this and we're trying him to change his life, but Alex liked his mafia busisness with the financial scams included. Paul was Mama's boy,Buster is Daddy's boy,he didn't care about his dad's busisness,so he was protected, that's why he survived. Paul and Maggie were executed with anger and rage, in a painfull way, because the worst sin for an addict dealer, was someone trying to be nosy about it,and Maggie and Paul paid for it.

There's no hard evidence he killed them just bc he's a liar and thief. Think for a while they said he was there 4 minutes. Your telling me he ran over her leg got her phone. Shot them both then got rid of the clothes and guns and showered or hosed off. There would have been blood evidence in the shower or hose or ground and they don't have nothing. Also he was calling them and on the phone with his brother talking so he did all that while talking to his brother in minutes I doubt it. In the video they sound happy he would have had to have the guns there in which they both would have seen and I'm sure there would have been a different tone to Maggie. Sometimes things aren't always what they appear to be. I went to jail for a crime I didn't do and from the outside looking in yes I can see how it looked like me but I was there and I know who truly did it in my case yet I was charged. There not always right I can promise that. The cops did a terrible job when they were getting evidence.

Why? The court isn't there to appease the whims of the public, they're there to build cases and deliver justice. Everyone complaining about how long it takes should just not watch. If you were the object of the case, you'd want them to take their time and do it right.
People live in a world where everything is disposable and instant. Real life doesn't work that way.

In the closing arguments, defense played a video with Alex and the police the night of the murders. No one has mentioned that you can clearly hear the dog(s) barking in the background. This indicates that anyone that was on the property would alert the dogs to bark. Wonder why they did not bark when only Alex, the killer(s) and the family were there

Yes, that is true. The criminal case would disappear. Not so much the civil because there were other defendants. However, the Beaches lawyer testified that he would've dropped Elick from the case if he thought he was innocent of the murders. So two reasons why killing them may have made sense in Elicks's warped thinking.

Citing a dosage without indicating the specific medication is entirely meaningless. The term "opiate" is too general. The effective and also the lethal dosage varies with the specific substance. The prosecutor is oversimplifying to the point of nonsense. I hope the jury understands that, in a serious matter such as this, wild and nonsenical statements such as these have no place, and that such statements grossly undermine the prosecutor's credibility. Not commenting upon guilt or innocence of the defendant, but what a nightmare it would be to have to listen such outrageous speculation when your life is on the line.
