This is my new favorite kitchen tool! Day 1 I was going to pressure cook a meat ruclips.net/user/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and potato stew, decided I wouldn't eat it that night so I went with a slow cook so I could go to bed and put it away in the morning. I love that versatility! The sauté feature works great and adds tons of extra flavor to dishes, and I can easily sizzle meats in the bottom then deglaze for some restaurant worthy flavors.Big bonus - you can cook a whole frozen chicken in about 2 hours. Amazing! I've seen a couple videos, haven't tried it yet, but I will soon!

SO THANKFUL FOR YOUR INSTANT POT VIDEOS!!! I AM ONE OF THOSE WHO BOUGHT IT & IT SAT UNOPENED FOR MONTHS! MY OLDEST GRANDDAUGHTER GAVE ME AN INSTANT POT 101 CLASS ON IT.....AGAIN MONTHS AGO. THEN LAST WEEK SHE WROTE OUT INSTRUCTIONS THAT A 1ST GRADER COULD FOLLOW, PER MY REQUEST. I WENT SOLO INSTANT POTTING & IT WAS GREAT! ROAST, POTATOES AND CARROTS. TODAY I MADE PORK CHOPS AND POTATOES WITH RANCH SEASONING. ALSO GREAT. THE FOOD IN HOUSE FOOD CRITIC, THE FATHER OF MY CHILDREN, LIKED BOTH MEALS AND DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD OR SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY!!! 😳😱 A FIRST!!!! PLEASE KEEP ON WITH YOUR VIDEOS! MUCH APPRECIATED!!! 💖

I have made the salsa chicken and loved it. I saw a variation of adding cream cheese when it’s finished and letting it melt. So good! Also the honey sesame chicken is amazing. I don’t use soy sauce but Trader Joe’s soyaki sauce which is a teriyaki sauce with sesame seeds and garlic. Want to try the buffalo one next. Thank you!

You don’t need to increase the time for frozen chicken- the pot won’t come to pressure until the chicken is thawed. The timer doesn’t start until after the pot comes to pressure, so setting it for longer isn’t necessary.

If I didn't know better I'd swear that I was the reincarnated chef gusteau from Ratatouille thanks to all your help.. 👍 You Rock...... I do however have a non instant pot related question for you that pertains to this particular video. Random yes and I apologize in advance for that. Just sold my home in California and just bought a new home that is being built in Amazing Arizona... Its scheduled to be finished in a couple weeks so it's CRUNCH TIME..... I noticed in the background of this video that you had an awesome gray toned bedroom set. I would really love to know where it came from. I totally want to bite your style if that's okay? 😊 and be sure to tell your husband that he better thank you every single day for purchasing a bedroom set that a man can enjoy coming home to as well! You totally Rock sister number 2..

Ok I have a question! 🙋🏼‍♀️ My instant pot doesn't have a manual button... So I did your honey sesame chicken as my maiden voyage in my pot. I pressed the meat/stew button and did 20 minutes like you said... The chicken was slightly scorched on the bottom.. Not bad but it like got too hot. I don't have a manual button so anything I should do differently bc you use that manual button a lot, how will I know which setting to use? Thanks so much for all your recipes!

Just curious, is it really necessary to rinse the rice prior to cooking or is it okay to just add the dry rice? Also, couldn't the rice be cooked at the same time as the chicken? Thanks in advance

For a better baked potato or sweet potato in the microwave, poke holes in the potato, get out a sheet of saran wrap.. smear about 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine on top of it.. wrap the potato in the saran wrap in the microwave and cook like you did your sweet potato in this video.. the skins are so soft and not shriveled up. :)
