Can't deny the fact that Abel Dorsey is the strongest bet to bring power back to this industry after we suffered FTX, Celsius, Tera and so on. Sure if they fail it's done for good, but I don't see that the biggest tech company in the world would put everything at risk just for that.

I did not believe that after the whole FTX drama there's any good to get this year but Abel Dorsey proved otherwise. Bad timing maybe but it's a great adoption to get this more to the mainstream and raise awareness. Probably a high contender for a top 100 growth
Abel Dorsey has the most potential to do more than X10. ETH and BTC will most likely do a X5-X6, but that's fine for me. Gotta look for better entry points while I stake IRIS and PGEN, then wait for Polygen's next raise as I also look at their new partnership with Kenzo Ventures

It is pretty much a concrete reality at minimum levels. You need food, shelter and money to pay the bills. Preferably you also need a plan for the health issues and old age.

I needed to hear this years ago but it's never too late. Such a true statement.
You, I or anyone else actually can't do anything and I think it's a relatively dangerous idea to get into people's heads. It doesn't take into account all the factors that are outside of our control. For example, can you truly say that someone who was born in a bad environment can do "anything" the same way as someone who had a good upbringing? Thinking you can do anything is a sure way to disappointment with your life because you would also have to think that your success as well as your misfortune are completely within your control, and that's simply not true.

I'm autistic and i want financial freedom so that i can freely be autistic, avoid having to mask my true personality to be professional and persue my special interests full time :) if i was the kind of person who could happily work an office job, then i would do that. I'm not after anything luxurious. I just want to be me :) thank you for this video!
My teenage daughter is also autistic. I hope you can break those chains off your shoulders of self doubt and be the true you regardless what other people think. What people think is their problem. I think the closest thing to real passive income is something like stock/dividends because passive income means little to no effort while earning money. So true! If you convert a few hours of social media scrolling into “productive” down time, it’s amazing how much more you can get down over time. Those hours compound quicker than you think.
As long as you give your brain a break during other times. Can't replace rest with productivity or you will burn out immediately

This is literally the most sensible advice I've ever seen in a video on financial freedom. Broken down into 8 parts, real life examples, taking a step back and analyzing whether your plan aligns with your goals, starting a business is a good default, and enjoying the journey. The fact that i relate to Jhon so much , and i get to watch this video and hear that my life can become what i wish in the future...it s really soothing. To finally know that i lack, and how i can fix it, gives me so much hope again.
I came from a life of poverty, not having what to eat with my parents, to now husteling and working actively every minute for every penny, with the reward of food, but not a house to live in.
I can t wait to start my knowledge journey and be able to comment on another video of yours in a few years from the comfort of my own home.
Hearing the assertive way you talk to a friend vs the way you talk to a video audience was a nice change.
Without trying to intellectualise the idea of financial freedom, to me it simply means you have no worries about paying your bills, have enough savings for rainy days, live a comfortable and decent lifestyles (nothing posh or elaborate), fancy meals once a while, travels to nice places once a year and able to do daily activities without penny pinching myself and worrying whether I would be able to afford it or and not be in bad debts. I am avoiding debt , saving and investing around 40 percent of my income. I have a high paying engineering job, and I live upstate NYC. since covid 19 my expenses became extremely low. I have zero debt on a 7 figure portfolio, low rent and car paid off. So i can just save. feel lucky and grateful my fiduciary came into play.

I've been feeling empty, demotivated, alone and lost. At the very least, I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. When Ali was talking about surrounding yourself with people that have similar goals, it dawned on me that although I don’t have friends around me that want similar things, I am very focused on my goals because of the family I come from and the content I consume online. For example I binge Ali’s content all the time. His videos have helped me in understanding a lot when it comes to growing on RUclips and becoming financially free. He always points out the things I’m doing wrong without even talking to me. 😂

My favorite time to listen to podcasts and audiobooks is while I'm cutting the grass and doing other yardwork. That gives me 4-5 hours a week to consume information. I'm sorry, kids or no kids, job or no job, if you can't find time to read a book (or listen to a book/podcast), you are just CHOOSING not to read/listen. I have 2 kids, a FT job, side projects, kids' school activities, 3-4 different sports, scouts, and other family/life obligations and I ALWAYS find/make time to read and listen to podcasts. I might not be as successful as I want to be (ie i still work 9-5 and desperately want to monetize one of my projects), but there is ALWAYS 30-60 minutes in a day one can find to read/learn/listen to something that will benefit them. Many just choose not to....just like I choose not to EXECUTE the things I learn from these books/podcasts that could have made me financially free from my 9-5 many times over. We all struggle with something, but usually we are just making excuses to mask our failure.

Dear Ali, what a wonderful 40 plus minutes I spent listening to your video while doing household chores. I am a stay at home mom for 2 small children. My brother who is a Doc too in India, introduced me to your channel. And this particular video was the affirmation I needed for today. I listen to Audible on double the speed when I want to learn about something but I always tend to avoid books related to money because I am scared of never making it big. What I didn’t realise until getting older was that I can earn 6 figures far quicker than owning my own business. We put business owners on a pedistol. A small minority make it to 6 figures or more. A larger minority make 6 figures employed.

Strange that for years, I thought a stable full time secure job was what I wanted…. And I got it… then the toxicity at work started with a new boss… then covid… and my mental health (and physical health) took a nose dive because of the said perfect job. Within a year and a half, I decided to put my well-being first. After a series of events and plan A not working out, I decided to return to a city I had lived in before the”perfect” job and take on part-time free lance work. I unintentionally and unknowingly followed the gps model. Now, I only work 15 hours a eeek…. enough to live the life I want, and have a few hundred dollars of savings. I spend the rest of my time, taking care of myself. This is my idea of financial freedom.

What I observe, is all of these financial wellness influencers have in common that they are all exceptionally intelligent. This intelligence is the reason they are able to make money, seemingly effortlessly. In fact, intelligence is the single biggest variable that determines worldly success of this kind. This intelligence is uncommon. Watching videos on it will not enable anyone not similarly gifted to do the same thing, or anything close. They are selling success, but the most critical element of their own success can't be sold. Intelligence is a trait we're born with. It's like a super model hawking face cream with the implied promise that you'll look as good as she does if you buy and use it.

you can naturally be more intelligent than others but learning new things and such is also a skill. you can learn as much or as little as you want. I refuse to believe anyone is smarter than anyone else - some people just absorb information quicker and are more disciplined, but everyone can learn a skill and work on said skill to become good at it, it may just take longer for others

Your belief about intelligence doesn't change the fact, accepted by decades of research conducted all over the world, that basic intelligence is a trait that we inherit. It's not a virtue, just a trait. Like eye color, for example. It also happens to be a trait that gives people a massive advantage in succeeding in a worldly sense. The reason this matters is that when we know this to be true we stop assigning all kinds of virtue to people who are successful. They don't work harder than others. They aren't better people, they were just born with an advantageous trait. And moreover, this thing that they have cannot be learned. Someone telling you their methods for succeeding on youtube won't give you or me or anyone else the real stuff that enabled them to become so successful. These are facts that have been proven by research over and over. So again, you are entitled to your own beliefs and your own opinions, but you don't get your own facts.

I’m on the path towards financial freedom, but i have a few obstacles in the way:
- Feeling of not making any progress
- Feeling of wanting to be financially free by a certain age, particularly before 30 or before they get married and have kids.
- Extra effort with no desirable results.
- Lack of energy to work
I’m particularly with the first 2 points. I’m trying to start a business, so I can become financially free; travel the world, and give back to my family. But most points on the journey is not seeing any feedback or progress on whether I am on the right path.
The biggest wealth is contentment.
I personally think it’s “perspective” which also helps build “contentment”. If you don’t have the perspective to appreciate your position financially against what is truly important to you, then you won’t know how to adjust your habits to create the life you want. Contentment doesn’t help you deal with the habits that build strong purpose, but “perspective” does…

I struggle with the knowledge gap and truly feel like no one addresses that situation. Everything is “take action”which is never my issue. I always take action but often have no clue what I should act ON! feels great to get the same advice youd give a friend. Immediately ordered these books.
Started a business in medical school but since starting foundation training I lost motivation and stopped.
This has inspired and provided me a direction to revisit and to take action for the business in my F3 year. (Certainly had a lack of knowledge in retrospect!)

Ali - I can't say that you would ever see anything I post but thank you. I have been working at changing my life for a while now. I have made a ton of progress but until I started engaging with your content, I feel like I never knew why I was doing it. I wake up almost every day today with a totally new outlook. This outlook has come at your hands (or videos). I have been in several career paths with varying levels of dedication to those careers. Once I started focusing on what I wanted from my life, my career, my relationships, my ADHD, my family, and my mindset is so much better. I am relatively "financially free" but since I have changed my outlook, the fact that I am on the path to "financial freedom" is financial freedom in itself.
I know you have millions of people who follow you and I am but a tiny blip on the map of your RUclips Subscribers, but I hope you never stop making videos. Even if its just talking about life. I appreciate how you think and how you live.
