The 6 keys or 6 productivity habits Basically from "very general" to "very specific" 1. Instead of annual goals go for the "Quarterly quests" (basically set goals every 3 months) 2. Weekly review or weekly reset: How did the last week go? What are my goals for next week? How are my "Quarterly quests" going? 3. The "Morning Manifesto": What are my top 3 priorities? How are they going? Do what you say you are going to do! 4. Focus Logs: track how many mins you spend on the things you need to be productive in, in order to be more conscious about your productivity 5. Social Events: Set a social event (brunch, lunch, date nights...) that happens every week at the same time 6. Multimodality Multitasking: DO 2 THINGS AT ONCE, but 2 different modalities. For instance, drive and listen to podcasts, walk and record your ideas or something like that. Be productive during "dead times"
One of my biggest goals was to buy my first vacation home overseas so I can retire without a mortgage in a less expensive country. In late Sept I bought a small home in a small town in France and I go there to relax, retreat, write, and rejuvenate… by myself. It is such an incredible reset place, a real de-stressing experience that lasts for weeks, months.
I fully agree with you. I left Malaysia above average city life and moved to Italy in a peaceful little village where I find complete serenity and I still can do things I am passionate about online. Great stress reliever.
I can’t help but marvel at the way Ali’s cheeks flush with the sweetest warmth every time his wife walks into the room, as if her presence alone lights up his entire world.
I don't think that any tips he might provide would be of much help to parents who work 9-5 or who have a much less flexible schedule than Ali has. Most parents or a large majority of parents are not successful entrepreneurs with 7 figures businesses or youtubers like Ali and his wife are.
Book titled The Elite Society's Money Manifestation holds the key to forbidden tehniques for manifesting money, which have truly transformed my life, it's worth exploring
You guys look soooo cute together. I’ve been in this channel for almost 5 years, so I’m happy that you are happy. Wish you both all the happiness in the world. ❤
Hey Ali ! I've been following you for a few years now but I never posted a comment. Recently, I thought to myself that it could be nice to interract with every content I watch or consume and as I love your work, I juste wanted to say thank you for the inspiration you give me. This video was very useful too and I'm already sure I'll will put in place some of the habits you're talking about. So, again, thanks for that !
So sweet to see your wife pop in and make you smile. You have accomplished so much but building a successful and happy marriage will be the most important and fulfilling thing you do 😊
One thing I would like to point out is that when we try to hyper-optimize for productivity, we also eliminate opportunities for spontaneous life activities and experiences. For example, if you’re listening to a podcast in public, the benefit is the learning from the content, but you inwardly forgo your ability to be present with the moment and you outwardly signal to the world around you that you don’t want to be bothered. I wonder what we, as a society, have lost in the name of productivity…
Every week I buy more of whatever is the lowest percentage of my portfolio and try to keep everything around 10%, but what could be my safest buys with $400k to outperform the market in 2025?
There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You dont have to act on every forecast, so l'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.
The issue is people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing jobs, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since 2020 just after the pandemic to date.
I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value. I would be happy if you could advise me based on how you went about yours, as I am ready to go the passive income path.!!
Svetlana Sarkisian Chowdhury a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.
Totally unrelated to the topic of this video but when Ali said "if you're watching this channel you're probably... good looking" that got me smiling real hard 😂
1. Ignoring annual goals 2. The weekly review 3. The morning manifesto 4. Focus logs 5. Standing order social events 6. Multimodality multitasking I advice you all to watch the whole video ❤👍
It’s crazy how many things we’re taught about money that just aren’t true. Why isn’t anyone talking about the book The Architect of Riches by Alexander Pierce? It really opens your eyes to a whole new way of thinking about wealth. A lot of successful people swear by it!
Best Advice that I ever get in my life; "If you do not open the doors of your life to welcome success and happiness, someone else will surely invite them into their home."
I love the candid parts like in 4:45 where you blend "filming Ali" into "bloopers Ali" (even though it's still an edited version of you)! The cut was a little jarring, but still breaks up the monotony quite a bit
Absolutely love the Habit 5, Ali. I have a feeling that this is going to be life-changing for me the way it has been for you. I've also started the monthly and weekly reviews, at least have scheduled them, have attended to just three by now though. but there's progress which I'm happy about. I just wanna say that what you create is truly life-changing, Ali. Thank you for being around us here. Anddd, I've a video suggestion. Please make a video on how to cultivate more positivity and optimism in one's days and life, and how to prevent negativity to take root inside one's psyche. Thank you again for all that you do. Love youuu!
Before jan wanting to complete all my important pending work, really wanna start jan with all these six habits, thank you so much for these useful tips.
Ali, I'm considering going back to school for medicine (applying for 2027 start) and your book and videos have given me some confidence that I can effectively study and manage my time to make this possible. Wish me luck!!!
This was one useful video ali. Serious Question - can you share a list of date night ideas that you guys have? (Just got married recently as well, would be a life saver 😅)
I agree with quarterly goals absolutely!! I’ve created an editable strategy template using the balanced scorecard - a management tool widely used and quarterly key performance indicators suggested for small businesses with a tracking template! (Includes a data dashboard)
"Microsoft Word, God forbid" is so real 😭 Anyways, thank you for this video. I'm going to implement the weekly review until the end of the year and start the quarterly quests next year, creating new quests every time I change my toothbrush. That way, I can like this new habit to one I already have. Thank you!!
I really don’t know how people listen to books while doing other stuff! I know that Multimodality Multitasking is great and saves time, but if I’m not completely focusing on what I’m reading, I can’t get any benefit from that book, that’s why listening to books isn’t working for me, I take notes (or what I call Quotes) from any book while I read it… I would appreciate if anyone has a way to teach me how to do that with audio books or give me an alternative method!!! 🤓
Hi Ali! Great video! I think it would be interesting if you could show us how you dealt with moving to a completely different continent. You mentioned social events and I was wondering how do you make new friends if you move to a new place. Thank you!
Honestly, if you have to remind yourself everyday what your set goals are - belive me - those are not goals that you acctualy want. when you want something (like how you wanted to make money and be the best) you put everything else aside, and this comes up as numero uno. For example - during years, you wanted to train, but instead automaticly prioritized youtube channel.
Bro that's for long term goals but there's gonna be short term goals in the long term goals, it's not like you gain money magically there's gonna be a lot of work!
It might appear false, however the actions you stated in this video, coincidentally is matching what I am doing rn. I comprehend that most people wound probably don't even believe me, moreover they won't think this is even a real event which is blowing my brain 🧠 right now. 😵
Great tip! Thank you! I love the idea of the app you mentioned. I did however note that in the terms it says "you grant us the license to use, copy, and display your content within the service" Is that just referring to the display screen etc. for functionality purposes ...?
Great video.. I've always been fascinated by investing and that's one of my goal, but when I tried stock investing early this year, it hasn't been as successful as I expected. However, I keep seeing good news about the stock market. Any recommendation will be much appreciated.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Judith B. Richards’’ for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
Thank you so much for the suggestion! I really needed it. I looked her up on Google and explored her website; she has an impressive background in investments. I've sent her an email, and I hope to hear back from her soon!
Hey, I am a new subscriber and I really liked the video, just one question about the last habit, I am a resident doctor and I love to paint, how do I make time in this condition? It’s not like listening to audiobooks/podcasts while doing laundry😢 I will literally have to take out time from my never ending hospital duty and studies for something I like :( Last one is not for me I guess, at least for the next 2 years..
Sir I have a confusion -- " Doing more of what matters to us is directly proportional to our meaningful enjoyable and sustainable productivity" is this correct?
3 things that make 2024 best year for me: 1. I stopped telling myself I'll do it tomorrow 2. I read books on nixorus 3. I blocked out all distractions.
Any goal works when you break it down into smaller, manageable pieces. Start by writing down your goal, then brainstorm all the tasks you need to complete to achieve it. Next, organize those tasks into buckets for what you’ll accomplish in 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days. For example, if you want to read more books in 2025, set a goal to read 3 books in 90 days that’s just one book per month. If your goal is to publish a book, aim to have your book outline completed within 90 days. Then the next 90 days you write one chapter a month etc…

Point 7: Get a team so you can focus more on productivity.

The importance of mitigating risks might be why many investors are turning to advisors for guidance.

What kind of goals can be set quarterly?
Any goal works when you break it down into smaller, manageable pieces. Start by writing down your goal, then brainstorm all the tasks you need to complete to achieve it. Next, organize those tasks into buckets for what you’ll accomplish in 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days.
For example, if you want to read more books in 2025, set a goal to read 3 books in 90 days that’s just one book per month. If your goal is to publish a book, aim to have your book outline completed within 90 days. Then the next 90 days you write one chapter a month etc…
