Love this it turned out so realistic. You guys are so amazing. I would totally watch the war tank painting.
It's nice to see Jazza again in these videos. The collaboration between him and Dave are always fun!
Yeah, like little red riding hood...
Model looks amazing, would love to see you guys have a crack at some Warmachine warjacks.
I would really love to see some scratch building. Just taking some bottles and other junk and turning them into some cool little minitures!
The beadbots!!!
Yea I’d love to see you guys do a heavily weathered Leman Russ or any Guard vehicle with some of the techniques you used in this one. Great vid, guys.
A Gaslands build would give you guys a good way to demo/play with engine weathering and mechanical painting and seems like it would be a bit more fun than just a tank model
those brushes look an awefull lot like the cheap ass makeup brushes i bought for this purpose. idk if the brush hairs are a bit stiffer or not but they have been working pretty good for me ^^
I'd love to see an unbiased comparison video between the AO brushes and makeup bushes.
Cheap brushes are great, and I use them a lot. But having the sable hair drybrushes is a luxury I'm loving right now.
@@OneWheelAddicted They aren't "sable" hair; they're goat, just like the Army Painter Masterclass Drybrushes. The claim of "sable hair" on the front of the Artis Opus website is a little misleading... it's almost like they never changed it from when the Series S was their only brush range.
You can actually find goat hair make-up brushes for less money. The big difference is the bristle density and/or length.
For the price I can't justify AO products. I LOVE their content, but it's too expensive. The majority of us don't have the skill to justify boutique brushes.
I'd be curious to hear how the dry brushes compare to makeup brushes. They look VERY similar.
Turned out so good. Love the Collab feel of this one!
That's a great brushed metal effect that you've gotten from dry-brushing plastic(or resin, or whatever..).
Heck yeah! I started watching Jazza for his character design videos, then he start a mini painting channel ( warhammer player) and now he has said that he had played dota, one of my favorite games. Love your content mate
Jazza's paint job is the mecha right out of the factory and then Dave used it for like a month then brought it back
those powder effects are super dope
Now I need that drybrush, the soft but noticeable effect it gave to metal was just beautiful, great work as always
This is one of my favorite paint jobs. Well done guys!
That's a beautiful model (before AND after painting it). Some great techniques here I want to try when I give "grimdark" painting a try on some Warhammer.
That model is really nice
That's a fantastic model with a great paint job. It is good to see masks in use, too.
Fantasy and sci Fi are my jam, but something from the crazy what if WW2 games would be fun with wolfmen and silly tanks.
Well done guys!
Wow good job you two
I love the mini collabs! I gotta give them props, because I would have a harder time sharing a mini to paint with someone! This turned out amazing!
Would love to see your take on a heavy modified Imperial Guard tank given tons of weathering a stowage and kit to make it heavily detailed and more... realistic
Hell yeah, awesome project. I loved the video
Just backed the KS! Amazing stuff from them
I was not expecting that drop with the reveal 😂
You did share well in the end.
Really great piece.
Amazing work. Top of the line. I have some questions. What was the artistic choice to make it monochromatic? There does not seem to be much in the way of colored details. Was that due to a time crunch or a deliberate uniformity to show the power of dry brushing? Also what do the finished goblins look like, especially the one in the belly?
Yay Jazza is back woohoo
Well that was nice. Almost a little bit of meditation. thx.
I'm letting Dave know in the description, paint a tank. That'd be awesome. Also, loved the outro, i love that y'all make them random.
Do some grim effects on a Landkreuzer. Most people know nothing about it and im sure it would be a blast to paint make sure to put a scale Maus next to it.
Yes please. A KV-1, or a Tiger tank and few Sherman's in a battle diorama
A ww2 tank like a churchhill would be a cool video, but a leman russ or something would also be just as good
Q: Hey Jazza, can we get a tech video for an editing computer? Maybe show us what you guys use and recommend some cheaper beginner options. I have an older laptop that lags and would like some recommendations for a new laptop or PC.
Keep up the amazing work guys. I love the mini content!
This was so well timed cuz im just about to start using AK interactives line of engine effect paints to weather and grime up a chaos knight desecrator under chassis
Please, please, please paint a WW2 tank! I think that would be awesome! 👌 Maybe a Cromwell or Matilda. 🤞
This is great!!
What do you do with all the models once they are finished? Do they all land on a shelf and collect dust?
End result looks fantastic! What a cool model! I've been curious about the Artist Opus brushes because I use the Army Painter dry brush set and I'm not sold on their medium and small brushes. I'd love to see a side by side comparison. Thanks for another great video!

Wow, I really like those weathering powders...note to self...look into getting some weathering powders!
I found this really cool teal colour for that corroded copper look
One thing thats hard to do in these miniatures is to create textures cuz it never seem to work specially if the brushes are not that fine tip...but they nailed it I have never been fooled that a plastic material can look like it has weight and rust.
As a certified Feral Farm Goblin I approve of this episode haha
Doing armour would be cool - I'd say stick with Astra Militarum. If you go WW2, you'll end up being compared to either Night Shift or Panzermeister 36; and that's a pretty high bar to clear
Oooo could you do a heavy weathered tau battlesuit like a ghostkeel pleeeeeeeease, he looks incredible well done guys!
That's a great video and a great mini! Do you guys think Dave can homebrew a sheet for this Goblin in D&D 5e?
Maybe you could do some conflict 47 minis there really nice
I don’t know if they would try it, but it would be interesting if they built and painted a gundam model
The mini reminds me of a Heartless
+1000 for Artis Opus brushes - I recently picked up a size 2 in both M and S brushes and they are fantastic
If you want the true complement for your grimetastic urges then you should come out of left field and hit 'em with a grimdark beat-up oily Tau mech rather than a tank!
It would be cool seeing one of you guys build a slaves to darkness army to face off against the stormcast eyeballs and their new dragons... As jazza's brother says... BUT WHAT ABOUT DRAGONS???
great weathering but I feel you could have done so much more with the robot suit colouring.
Looks great but if you can contrast the base with the model more I think it would make everything pop a bit more. Like everything looks good but it's kinda samey.
I've notice that the goblin operator in this model appears to be painted differently in the All Important Thumbnail than it is at the end of the video. Dave gave it a wonderfully realistic coat of filth, but in the thumbnail it's all clean-looking and brightly colored. Is this to appease the gods of RUclips, who prefer strict adherence to the thumbnail formulae in order to assure maximum viewership? I'm just curious... great video, as usual!
These shots with the TV background sure look spectacular but i find it quite hard to appreciate the minis... the difference in brightness and saturation kinda overshadows the painting job
A simple solution might be to tweak the saturation/brightness of the tv or video.
I appreciate the additional shots on a more classic background for that matter
PLS DO SOME SORT OF IMPERIAL GUARD TANK OR DARK MECHANICUM THAT WOULD BE SO COOL PLS
Kirby planet robobot vibes also
You should get custom masks
How do you seal the model with a varnish etc. if there are pigment powders on the model? Wouldn't the pigment go watery and streak down the model?
Is this where you AVENGE Red Riding Hood?
Ww2 tanks? Yes please
LMAO the spanish patreon name change had me laughing so much. was that Time again? XD
Was the inside bit in the belly not painted? I would’ve liked to have seen that.
WW2 tank please….in a wet late winter….muddy and frosty
Watch Martin from night shift if you want to see some great armor models.
Yaey i like new vidios
EPIC warhammer
I need help!!! How does one paint something albino!! Lol 😆
Si cambian el idioma no pasa nada, todo bien, saludos.
Please paint a Tank!!!!!
Open the belly, did they paint the parts in there
baneblade?
Obligatory dota comment
I like dota too
I’ll see myself out
But I do love that game!
Imperial guard tank yes BUT... it's been "Made much more betterer by dem green skinz! WAAAAGH!!!"
paint a beard on a mask and save all the hassle
I really dislike the overuse of weathering pigments. The look of the metal on the model was so nice and then adding all that red pigment just ruined it. I think the sooty pigment was a great idea but the rest of it was just too much. I wish people would stop just powdering their models with dirt. It's a trend I rather dislike.
lol whats up with the masks i was waiting for the joke but it never came
Instead of cheap and scrappy brushes... just walk into a dollar store, buy the cheapest makeup brush and drybrush away. You will be surprised.
LOOSE THE DAMN MASKS !!!!!!
First
Those brushes looked awful. I saw dozens of bristles floating around throughout this video lol. Stick to cheap make up brushes.
Don't bother with the overpriced Artist Opus brushes (they are just rebranded Rosemary and Co brushes anyway). Buy cheap makeup brushes from your local dollar store and you will never use anything else.
filth uh fith
I always feel really uncomfortable around World War Miniatures. I feel like it glorifies actual war without ever really reflecting on the history and the atrocities that were commited. There might be other opionions but I"d rather you stick to fantasy miniatures because of that. Thanks for the great content! Cheers
