Actually, in a few 3d miniature printing and painting groups I often see people suggesting to change misprints or damaged prints (e.g. characters whose heads were not print) into damaged statues or scenery pieces (ooor corpses, which is more morbid, but sometimes useful XD), which is brilliant in my opinion. Nothing is wasted this way.

I know these minis are made to be accessible, and doable within a day, but if I got my minis to look like Dave's, I don't know if I could ever stop staring at them! These are incredibly creative! I may just have to steal the mini trophy idea for my game design club at uni!

If you want to be a bit more close to reality, you could draw on some washed out colors. Antique statues were very colorful and because it's a tabletop you could use that to your advantage.

I am completely not into d&d and other stuff. But I used hero forge to visualize a character out of a book I was reading and it was loads of fun! If the prints would also be available in a bit bigger size, I would use it for things like that

I believe that after you purchase the store of a figure you can size it to any scale you wish that you print.
