Ik you sounded couple times like yardie am in th semi world hauling refer bro these rates are killing so i got me a f450 cab and chassis thinking about touching the hotshot and see cost less to turn those wheels a mile vs semi
Born and raised in Kinston and moved to the states when I was 10. Suh the accent still there a bit lol. But I hear that bro, all markets kinda feeling the effects of this bad economy. I would suggest comparing costs and markets to see if hotshot would be more profitable and less expensive. Sometimes hotshot setups can come close to semi operations.

Do you not have it rigged up where you can plug an air hose directly into the air ride system to air up your own tires or the equipment?

Hmmm I've heard that it's not an issue since the hitch is bolted to the frame itself. What's the issue with that method?
@@geardriven2018 heard wrong my brother. It doesn’t not prevent side to side or front to back motion. Also like you said it’s bolted, if those bolts break, your securement is gone. Needs to be on the frame.
Yeah that’s a no no because it’s not part of the vehicle.
@@geardriven2018 has to be an actual part of the truck.. that hitch the bolts could come out and cause he’ll but that axle ain’t going no where if that makes sense. Some dot officer would hit him for that. But that’s the law on that issue.

I can't speak on the hotshot market rite now... found a direct shipper haven't looked at a load board in 3 months and turning down loads weekly. Building materials and dollar general skeletons but I hear it daily and honestly can't see how some people are still in business at this point just keep your op costs low and short deadhead only advice I have
How did you land that unicorn direct shipper. And one direct is enough to keep you busy week in and week out? Lucky lol
@@geardriven2018 just got out one day and asked if they needed a direct service after I had been there three times plus it's 25 miles from home and yep too busy legit turning down loads EVERY week close to expanding my operation just to keep up

@@ikarus.mp4 with the hot shot I grossed 200,000 in a year. But of course you gross a lot but that’s not all profit . I work a job making 100 K a year no crazy expenses like the hot shot business home every night . With great benefits Hot Shot was a waste of time for me

It just depends bro. For us, we prefer it over a 9-5 job. There’s gonna be good and bad times. It’s definitely not for everyone tho.
