The Hag was by far one of the hardest and stressful bosses I've faced when I was younger. Even now, while I can beat it, I would always get nervous near the end because that's usually when the boss proved to be my undoing. 😅
@@PrincessQ-fj9ly have you found the goldfish near the start of the game? Helping him lets you breath for longer in dangerous gas or water. The goldfish should be, like, under a boulder/rock.
I wish she resumed her rhyming during this part of the game, would've been a funny touch seeing as her sisters were dead and couldn't tell her to stop anymore.
I think shes done rhyming for now because she doesn’t have the mood anymore. She is letting all her anger out. She will do everything in her will to destroy the bear and bird. She’s done with her damn rhyming

In my opinion this is the best final boss Rare ever did or will do. It was just so intense and challenging that nothing i feel ever came close to this..
If you're bad at aiming, get the fish at Banjo's house after unlocking the Drill beak, and get it over to the moat around Spiral mountain, that way you'll last longer in the gas. Then, play banjo Kazooie and get the ice key, which should be by Wozza in the Snowman level. Get that and open up Stop n Swop, than head over to the Waterfall Cavern in Tooie's Glitter gulch mine, and head over to the area that leads to the Ice vault. Open it, get the mega glowbo, and bring it to Wumba in the Pine grove. Do that, and jump into the pool to have kazooie become a Dragon, with the ability to use unlimited Fire eggs and trade the grounded Rat-a-tap Rap move for a Flame breath move. That should make it easier to beat Gruntilda.
It came out in 2008. Rare themselves stated they wanted to make the game much different that's why it doesn't feel like a sequel but, in reality it is.

Kazooie. It's much better and doesn't run at 10FPS unlike Tooie. Also, if you're on a budget with life Kazooie cartridges are much cheaper than Tooie cartridges :)
If you're willing to spend quite a bit of money on Banjo Tooie (the cartridges are quite expensive) you might as well buy an Xbox One with Rare Replay. That game includes both games and Tooie runs much better on there with no lag at all

I just beat this on n64 emulator on steam deck. and holy crap. the controls were awful. not gonna lie, I had to use save states. i tend to rage pretty hard and I value the safety of my steam deck more than the veins in my head. so I'm not about to destroy my beloved over a boss that only wins because of horrible controls. nevertheless, I beat her and I'm happy now. beating banjo tooie was a life goal of mine.

When I was a kid, one of Grunty's questions was "What number am I thinking of?" and by pure chance, I got it right.

Overrated game, unplayable mess on N64, impossible to aim eggs properly because of the lag, gave up on this boss after completing the game 100%.
